Nordic mythology is a polytheistic system, which can be roughly divided into four systems: giant, god, elf and dwarf. There are twelve gods, namely Odin, Freig, Sol, Schiff, Frey, Loki, Tyre, freya, Heimdahl, Bader, hoddle and Vader.
1, Odin
Odin is the king of gods and the ruler of the world. He wore a big golden helmet and two crows perched on his shoulders, symbolizing "thought" and "memory" respectively. They fly around the world every morning and come back to report their experiences to Odin. There are two wolves squatting at Odin's feet, named "greed" and "lust", which are specially guarded. In order to increase intelligence, predict the future and better rule, Odin devotes himself to drinking the water from the well of wisdom, that is, the sacred spring next to the root of the world tree ——Yggdrasil.
But the leader of Mimir, the giant guarding the oil well, asked him to pay for one eye. Odin immediately dug out an eye without thinking. Drink well water, and you will become knowledgeable. He invented the ancient Norse script, which was used by the fairy in charge of fate to record her fate on the shield. This is the famous source of all magic-runes.
2.Frey
Frey is the god of abundance, prosperity, love and peace, the king of Alfheim, a beautiful fairy country, and belongs to Warner Protoss. He and bud are both gods of light, or sun. His elves do good deeds all over the world. He often rides a wild boar with a golden mane (the golden boar was produced by Loki's bet with the dwarf).
Everyone enjoys the peace and happiness he gives. He has a sword, which is radiant and can walk on clouds. He also has a pocket magic ship, which can carry all the gods and their weapons when necessary.
3. Tires
Tyre is the god of war, the son of Odin, and will be called "the father of the gods" in Eda. Legend has it that he is the guarantor of the contract and the sworn guardian. When other gods tied wolves in Fenris, Tyr put his arm in the wolf's mouth as a guarantee of credit. The wolf found that the god who tied him was actually setting a trap and immediately bit off Tyr's arm.
From then on, Tyre became a one-armed god. But wearing a sword, he always looks dignified. The ancient custom of swearing by sword originated from the worship of Tyr, the god of war, in northern Europe. Many traditional sword dances are arranged in memory of the God of War.
4. freya
Freya is the god of fertility and desire. In charge of fertility and love, Frey's sister. She is beautiful, because people in the ice and snow are eagerly looking forward to the arrival of spring. She often wears heavy make-up, gorgeous clothes, and sometimes wears armor, leading fairies to choose dead heroes for Odin. But she is vain and endures the humiliation of dwarfs for a gold necklace, so she is called the God of Desire. In some stories, she and frigga are the same god.
5. hoddle
Hoddle is the god of darkness, Bud's twin brother, who is blind. He is melancholy and withdrawn by nature, and insists on being the enemy of light. He was cheated by Vulcan Loki and killed his brother god of light without knowing it.
