Flower-scented poems

I like lilies. Every year, the flower market in Guangzhou is the main variety. In particular, a perfume lily has pure petals, no spots and a faint fragrance. Lily actually blooms in summer, but now it can bloom all year round because of people's cultivation.

Lily is beautiful, its branches are long, and its leaves are light green and sparse. It doesn't look like that kind of stingy, but generous and elegant, with a big trumpet-shaped flower at the top.

It is a typical color and fragrance, and there are too many colors to express. It not only has four varieties of red, yellow, white and purple, but also has a gradual color on a flower. Unlike other flowers, it is pure red that says red and pure yellow that says yellow.

My family always keeps a few plants from time to time, prunes them a little and puts them in a transparent high vase. There is clear water in the bottle. Generally speaking, these samples are very unique.

Nowadays, many people like lily because it symbolizes beauty and harmony of all things. What's more, it has become a special auspicious flower at people's weddings, symbolizing a couple's eternal harmony and unity.

Although lilies are cultivated all over the world, there are relatively many varieties in China, and the cultivation history is very early. Let's enjoy some ancient poems about lilies. The first poem was written by Cha Xiao, the poet of the Southern Dynasties, the third son of Prince Zhaoming, showing its early history.

Ode to Lily Cha Xiao

There are many kinds of grafted leaves, and flowers are the same color.

Dew or droop, droop from the wind.

Chamomile is a ashamed fairy formula, from Xie Lanfang.

This is an ancient poem with only six sentences, while the metrical poem is eight sentences, which was only available in the Tang Dynasty. The first two sentences of this poem are about the leaves and flowers of lilies. The leaves are thick, thin and shiny, and relay from low to high.

And tweed, although the color is diverse, but specific to each variety, the color is the same. It is said that there are more than 100 kinds of lilies in the world, more than half of which are in China.

The middle two sentences are about the dynamics of lily. If dew falls, the stems and leaves of lily will bear gravity and droop. When the wind blows, you keep shaking your head.

The last two sentences are compared with lily. Chamomile is not chrysanthemum, smaller than chrysanthemum, but it can also clear away heat and detoxify, and can be used as medicine and tea. Although orchids are famous for their fragrance, they are not as good as lilies in color, fragrance and medicine.

Lu You's "Making a small earthen mountain orchid in front of the window and finally getting fragrant lily seeds"

Fang Lan moves all over the forest, so there is no room for planting Hosta.

More begging for two clusters of fragrant lilies, the old man is still childlike in his seventies.

This poem was written by Lu You with a long title, which basically summarizes the content of the poem. When Lu You lived in seclusion in his hometown Yinshan, he built a rockery next to his house to grow flowers.

First, he transplanted orchids, and then planted Hosta flowers in other places. There was still a little room, so I went to someone else and got some lilies to grow. He said that he is seventy years old and still loves flowers like a child, which also shows an open-minded and optimistic spirit after suffering.

Li Hong in Zou Yigui's Sketching Lily

When the leaves are connected, the jade petals are long and the cloud roots can be folded.

But he taught the art garden to tell good stories, and the annual axis chart became auspicious.

This is a poem written by Qianlong in Qing Dynasty for lilies. "Grafted leaves" means that lily leaves keep growing and rising like a relay, and "jade petal length" means that white flowers are in full bloom. Lily's roots are also scales and bulbs, which are nutritious and edible, and are still Chinese medicine.

The last two sentences fall on calligraphy and painting, saying that many painters have painted lilies since they came into being, and I wonder how many famous national treasures have been produced from generation to generation. Now that this axis is completed, it also indicates good luck in the future.

Lily Yan Zhao He

Learn to dye the light yellow day lily color, and several branches are fluttering in the wind.

It is difficult to feel sorry for yourself and join the WTO, which does not mean that this flower was planted in front of the imperial court.

This is a poem by Yan, a poet in Qing Dynasty. He said that the yellow color of lily was learned from day lily, that is, day lily, day lily, also known as the girl without worry. Those flowers were wet with dew and were overwhelmed.

Although there is a lily standing in front of me, my life has never been smooth sailing. It seems that I don't deserve to grow lilies in the yard. Its auspicious name didn't bring me luck either. Here, the author uses lilies to express his feelings about his talent and daylily to comfort himself from forgetting his pain.

From the above four poems, we can know that the ancients still loved lilies very much and regarded them as a symbol of harmony, harmony for a hundred years and good luck. But it seems that there are not many poems that specifically use lilies to imply marriage and love.

Reading poems and appreciating lilies in summer, we seem to feel the coolness.
