I learned from the Internet that Bayinbuluke Grassland is the second largest grassland in China, second only to Hulunbeier Grassland in Inner Mongolia, with an area equivalent to less than half of Jiangsu, with an average elevation of 2,500 meters, surrounded by high mountains and Ma Pingchuan in the interior.
When the car crossed the barren Tianshan Mountains, it suddenly opened up and presented a scene of vast expanse! The dazzling sun hangs in the air, and thousands of golden rays touch the mountains and grasslands. The sky here is so blue and crystal clear; The grass here is so green, like a huge carpet; The lake here is so quiet, just like a beautiful shining mirror. White yurts are scattered ten kilometers away, like white mushrooms.
Not far away, a large group of cattle and sheep are eating grass, and a boy several years older than me is eating grass on a motorcycle. With the roar of the engine, he ran around like an acrobat. I have never seen such smooth driving skills. Will the nation on horseback become the nation on wheels? Stranger still, the bodies of these sheep are white, but their heads and feet are black. This is a black-headed sheep, also known as Oba sheep, which is one of the three treasures of grassland, and is jokingly called the white dress of US President Barack Obama.
The most beautiful place here is called "Nine Curves and Eighteen Bends", which is the upper reaches of Kaidu River. You may not have heard of it, but it also has a well-known name-Tongtian River in Journey to the West. Looking from the mountain, it is amazing that it hovers like a ribbon on the flat grassland, shining with silver light and reaching out to the horizon. This made me realize for the first time the meaning of "this kind of scene should only exist in the sky, how many times can it exist on the earth".
Besides, I rode a horse here, ate mutton, drank butter tea, slept in a yurt and saw the sacred swan. Ah! The grandeur, beauty and magic of Bayinbuluke prairie have been deeply engraved in my mind.
