About the author: a famous Turkish poet, novelist and translator. Born into a distinguished family in Türkiye. Higher education at the Istanbul Institute of Political Sciences. and furthered his studies in Paris. He returned to Türkiye without completing his studies due to the outbreak of World War II. In 1944, he worked as a translator for a state-owned news agency and held public office in the Ministry of Labor and other departments.
In the fourth year after marriage, he fell ill and became paralyzed in 1954. Died in a hospital in Vienna on January 12, 1956. After his death, he was laid to rest in his hometown of Türkiye. The Tarangi Museum was built in Diyarbak?r to commemorate him.
