Skilled embroiderers draw blue tapestries, cut scarlet, and decorate embroidery evenly, appropriately and brilliantly. You can show the embroidered mandarin ducks to others, but you won't pass on the colorful and graceful gold needles to others.

On poetry, Yuan Haowen's works, including comments on poets Xie Lingyun and Chen Shidao. The first two sentences praise Xie Lingyun's poetic style. Xie Lingyun was a famous poet in Jin and Song Dynasties. The essence of this poem is to explain the era of literary creation, not to belittle the outstanding achievements of Du Li's poetry. Yuan Haowen (1190-1257), whose real name is Yu Zhi, is called Mr. Yishan. Han nationality, Shanxi Xiurong (now Xinzhou, Shanxi).
As a teenager, he lived with his father Yuan Deming in the north of Hutuo River in sha he. Born on (1 190) the eighth day of July in the first year of Mingchang, he died on the fourth day of September in the seventh year of Mengge (1257) and was buried in Xiashan Village, Zhoushan (now Hanyan Village, Xinxian County).
