What is poetry? Poetry is verse. The three basic characteristics of poetry are: first, ups and downs; Second, rhyme; Third, the sense of rhythm brought by ups and downs and rhymes.
The word "firecrackers say goodbye to the old year" is "flat and flat" (the word "bamboo" is the entering tone word), and it is a legal sentence with a beginning and an end, so this sentence can not only be a poem, but also be called a metrical poem.
But one sentence is not a poem.
"Fireworks fly all over the sky to welcome the Spring Festival" is a flat sentence and a serious sentence. Even if you don't look at the flat meter, it will seriously affect the intonation of the sentence-so ups and downs are not done. At the same time, because this sentence ends in a flat voice and the last sentence ends in a tone, the smallest rhyme unit (two sentences) has no rhyme. Third, because there is no ups and downs, the sense of rhythm is naturally lost.
So this sentence is not a poem, and at the same time it affects the previous sentence. Together, it is not a poem.
What is poetry?
Poetry is a rhythmic, ups and downs, rhyming chanting text.
