-Totally selfless:
This passage records that Moses spent forty days and nights on the mountain, and the Israelites at the foot of the mountain did not know what had happened to him. Aaron commanded the people to take off their gold ornaments, cast a golden calf, and build an altar in front of the calf to keep a feast to the Lord. The people sinned against God in this matter, and God said to Moses, I think this people are really a stiff-necked people. Leave me alone, I will be angry with them, destroy them and make your descendants a great nation. "We often see from the Bible that God wants to punish a person and his descendants. It's not that God is unfair. In fact, those descendants were punished not only because of their father, but also because of their own sins. God said in advance that he would punish his descendants, but it was already a punishment for that person, because he felt that if his descendants were punished, they would be punished themselves. Conversely, children are blessed and blessed. Now the Lord says that he will destroy Israel and make the descendants of Moses a great nation. If Moses had a selfish heart, he would say, "God, suit yourself!" " "But Moses didn't think about himself at all. When he was still on the mountain, he prayed to God for Israel. Please don't be angry with God, lest foreigners talk about God. Moses was a faithful intercessor. Many times we can't see spiritual things clearly, and our understanding of truth is very confusing, all because we have our own ingredients; We put our own interests first and the glory of God second. As a result, we can't see clearly how to be a man.
Second, think about God: Scripture: (Lev. 10: L-2,6)
This passage records that when the priestly system was just established, Aaron and his sons took office, and Aaron's two sons Nadab and Abihu made a big mistake and burned incense with fire. According to God's command, when burning incense in the altar of incense in the sanctuary, the fire must be taken down from the altar of burnt offering. (The fire on the altar of burnt offering comes down from the presence of God, and the priest should keep the fire burning, and it cannot be extinguished-Leviticus 9: 24) "All fires" are fires outside the altar of burnt offering. This applies to Christians in the spiritual sense: our prayers can only be accepted by the effect of the cross of Christ, and our service in the spiritual temple of God-the church-is valuable only under the encouragement of the love of the cross. At that time, Aaron's son used "fire" and was immediately punished and died in the shelter. Moses, according to God's command, did not allow Aaron to have long hair, nor did he allow him to tear his clothes to show his sadness. Aaron had four sons, two of whom died on his first day in office. Aaron's son is Moses' nephew. Moses stood on God's side and told Aaron not to express grief, which meant acknowledging that God was right to reduce the punishment in this way. If he expresses sadness, he is wronged. In other words, Moses completely liked what God liked and hated what God hated. Even those closest to God who should be punished have no resentment. This is Moses' loyalty, not only to himself in personal interests, but also to God in emotion.
Third, the generation of love:
Moses' brother Aaron and his sister Miriam joined forces to attack Moses. Said he should not marry an Ethiopian woman. This is the superficial reason, and the real reason is recorded in (Min. 12: 2): "Does the Lord only talk to Moses, but doesn't he also talk to us ..." Aaron is the high priest, and his duty is to stand between God and man, to convey God's words to people, and to convey people's thoughts and sacrifices to God. When Musa was called, he said to God, "I am a clumsy God. I asked Aaron to help him because he is eloquent.". But we can see from the Bible that Moses spoke more than Aaron after he really accepted God's mission. Did Aaron really cooperate with Moses? You can learn one or two things from this article. Aaron is the elder brother. When he saw his younger brother walking in front, what he said was authoritative and came from God. Everyone listens to him, and it may be a little difficult for them after a long time. Miriam is her sister and the earliest prophetess in the Bible. She also has the word of God, so they said, "Does the Lord not only talk to Moses, but also talk to us?" In other words, are you the only authority? Can't our opinions be respected? How did Moses deal with the attacks of his brothers and sisters? He remained silent, and then God appeared and accused Miriam and Aaron. As a result, Miriam had leprosy, and the whole trip to Israel was blocked. Moses was not complacent at all. If he is a little self-centered and doesn't think about God's affairs, won't he feel complacent that the other party is punished by God for opposing himself in such a power struggle? However, Moses was not proud of it. He was glad that he attached great importance to God's entrustment and did not ignore Miriam's important position in leading the Israelites into the wilderness. He prayed to God for Miriam, and God heard Moses' prayer and cured Miriam of leprosy. We should learn and serve in God's home with Moses' generosity, including praying for hostile people. His loyalty to God is something we should emulate.
Fourth, gentle persistence: scripture (Min 14: 2, 1 1- 12)
This article records the most serious complaints of the Israelites during their trip to the wilderness, because this time they complained not only about the problems of living and eating, but also that God led them to die in the land of Canaan and directly rejected the promised land. More than a million Israelites complained to Moses and even stoned Moses, Joshua and Caleb to death. Moses fell to the ground before all the congregation of Israel, and the Lord appeared to Israel and said to Moses, Repeat what he said on Mount Sinai to destroy Israel and make the descendants of Moses a great nation.
