Zaofa baidicheng

li po

Early in the morning, I bid farewell to Jiangling city, which is high into the sky, thousands of miles away, and the boat is only one day away.

The cries of apes on both sides of the strait are still unconsciously crowing in their ears, and the canoe has passed the heavy green hills.

This poem is one of the most popular masterpieces in Li Bai's poems. The poet combined the happy mood after forgiveness with the grandeur of the countryside and the smooth and brisk sailing along the river. The whole poem is full of exaggeration and whimsy. Elegant and shocking, but not artificial, arbitrary and natural. The whole poem goes straight and pours down, and the clippers have far-reaching joy. No wonder the wise man Yang Shenzan praised: "I was scared to cry by the wind and rain!"

Looking up from the river, you can see the colorful clouds in Baidicheng, such as among the clouds, and the scenery is gorgeous. Jiangling, thousands of miles away, arrived in one day. The cries of apes on both sides of the strait are constantly echoing. When the ape's crow was still ringing in his ears, the brisk boat had crossed the endless mountains.

Creation background

In 759 AD, in the spring of the second year in Gan Yuan, Tang Suzong, Li Bai was exiled to Yelang because of the Li Lin case in Wang Yong, and arrived at the relegated place through Sichuan. When I arrived in Baidicheng, I suddenly received the news of pardon. He was overjoyed and immediately sailed east to Jiangling, so his poem was titled "Xiajiangling".

Four years before Li Bai wrote this poem (AD 755), the "An Shi Rebellion" which shocked the Tang Dynasty empire broke out. In this war, the then Tang Xuanzong was forced to flee to Sichuan. Later, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty passed the throne to his son Hengli, who was later Tang Suzong. Soon, Tang Suzong's younger brother Wang Yong Lilin also began to compete with Tang Suzong for the throne. At that time, Li Bai lived in Lushan Mountain in seclusion and didn't know the inside story. He joined the Wang Yong shogunate out of enthusiasm for serving his country. In 758, Wang Yong was suppressed, and Li Bai was also implicated. He was imprisoned in Xunyang (now Jiujiang, Jiangxi) and sentenced to long-term exile in Yelang (now Tongzi, Guizhou). The following year, I went west to Wushan and was forgiven. I took a boat back to Jiangling from Baidicheng. I wrote this poem on the way to express the poet's great happiness after being forgiven. ?

The first sentence "Caiyun" describes the high terrain of Baidicheng, which is ready for the whole article to describe the dynamic of underwater ships walking fast. The word "room" in Colorful Clouds is taken as the meaning of partition. The poet looks back at Baidi City above the white clouds, and everything before seems to have happened in a previous life. When it comes to describing the height of Patty City, the speed of water travel is in the gap. If you don't write the height of Baidicheng, you can't reflect the big gradient gap between the upper and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Baidicheng is high in the sky, so the following sentences describe the speed of the ship, the short journey and the endless welcome of the ear apes. "Colorful Clouds" is also a description of the morning scenery, showing a good weather from cloudy to sunny. At this dawn moment, the poet bid farewell to Baidicheng with excitement.

The second sentence "a thousand miles" and "a day" contrast the distance of space and the brevity of time. The ingenious place here lies in the meaning of the word "return". It not only shows the poet's joy of traveling thousands of miles a day, but also reveals the joy of forgiveness. Jiangling is not Li Bai's hometown, but the word "return" is as kind as going home. A vivid word "Huan" in the dark is worthy of readers' deep thinking.

The realm of the third sentence is even more wonderful. In ancient times, the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River "often had high apes whistling". The poet said that he couldn't stop crying because he was driving in a fast canoe on the Yangtze River. He could hear the apes crying on both sides and see the mountain shadows on both sides. More than one ape is crying, more than one mountain shadow. Because of the speed of the ship, the crow of chickens and the shadow of mountains become "one piece" between the eyes and ears. This is how Li Bai felt when he went out of the gorge to cast a shadow on an ape mountain. Sitting on this boat, which is like an arrow leaving the string and flowing downstream, the poet feels extremely carefree and excited. In Qing Dynasty, Gui Fu praised that "beauty lies in the third sentence, which can make the spirit of longevity soar." Zapu

In an instant, the "canoe" has passed the "Chung Shan Man". In order to describe the speed of the ship, the poet added the word "light" to the ship itself in addition to the ape sound and the mountain shadow. It is clumsy to say that the ship is fast, but the word "light" has different meanings. When the Three Gorges was in danger, the poet not only felt that the ship was sinking, but also felt depressed. "Three dynasties scalpers, it is too late. It doesn't feel like silk. " ("On the Three Gorges") Now it is as light as nothing downstream, as readers can imagine. However, the "dangerous" Chung Shan Man has passed, the canoe has entered the smooth road, and the poet's pleasure of going through hardships and entering the Tao naturally appears. These last two sentences are not only a description of the scenery, but also a comparison, an expression of personal feelings and a summary of life experiences, which are exquisite and incoherent because of things.
