Last summer vacation, my father-in-law took me on a trip to Beijing and visited the Great Wall and many places of interest in Beijing. I never forget to visit the Forbidden City. After passing Tiananmen Square, the first thing I saw was the gate of the Forbidden City. When I entered the gate, a magnificent palace appeared before my eyes. This is the Forbidden City. Also known as the Forbidden City, there were 24 emperors living here, and it was the palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has a history of over 580 years. Twenty-four emperors lived here in Ming and Qing dynasties and ruled for about five centuries. It is worthy of being the ear of the world palace. The Forbidden City is really spectacular. It has a magnificent palace, decorated with exquisite wood carvings, stone carvings, colored paintings and golden tile roofs. The whole Forbidden City building is resplendent and magnificent, with yellow glazed tile roof and white stone base, which is elegant and magnificent, just like a picture scroll of thousands of families. It is no exaggeration to say that the beauty of the world lies in the Forbidden City. No wonder/kloc-More than 0/00 years ago, an American named Heddeland wrote this after visiting the Forbidden City: "I don't know why, you will be moved by what you see here. There is a unique and shocking beauty here, but it is also a kind of beauty that makes you feel kind. " This is probably his memory of the elegant and noble beauty of the Forbidden City. I have seen the majestic Oriental Pearl in Shanghai, visited Suzhou Gardens and Old Town of Lijiang Siheyuan, and never seen such a magnificent Forbidden City. The building area of the Forbidden City is so large that I can't tell the direction. The number of ancient buildings in the Forbidden City is dazzling. Visiting the Forbidden City is to shuttle through the crowd, being in palaces that have sprung up one after another, and being surrounded by endless tourists, which makes me mistakenly think that I am still in the same place.
I have seen the presidential private room of Jinling Hotel and the modern and luxurious facilities in the shopping mall. I have been to Tongli Ancient Town in Jiangsu, Hongcun Village in southern Anhui and Xidi. I have admired the elegant and quaint furnishings in the quadrangles of ancient villages and towns, but I have never seen the exquisite and chic furnishings in the Forbidden City. Doors, eaves and dragon chairs are beautifully carved and lifelike, which makes people marvel at the exquisite craftsmanship of ancient craftsmen.
Despite the lack of modern living facilities such as water, electricity and gas, the beautifully furnished Forbidden City has its own uniqueness for Chinese and foreign tourists. Come all the way to watch. Because in such an environment, tourists seem to have crossed just visiting, traveled back to thousands of years ago, met the ancients and smelled their breath.
The Forbidden City is known as the first of the five largest palaces in the world (the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in Britain, the White House in the United States, and the Kremlin in Russia) and is listed as a "World Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO. If you want to find a representative building on the land of China, it is the Forbidden City, which is gorgeous and solemn. If we want to find a symbol in China's 5,000-year history, it is still the Forbidden City, where we can find its brilliant and noisy annotations.
The unique imperial city in the world is a precious cultural heritage. It brings together countless treasures of China from ancient times to the present, and embodies the sweat and tears of skilled craftsmen. Until today, the Forbidden City has witnessed the historical process and told a silent story.
