1, Tomb-Sweeping Day
A drizzling rain falls like tears on the Mourning Day; The mourner's heart is going to break on his way.
Appreciation: The first verse of the poem is about vision, one is about scenery, and the other is about people. On this basis, we might as well think that the poet came to pay homage to Tomb-Sweeping Day on this day, not to the place where the apples gathered in front of the grave, that is, to witness the scene. Because the cemetery is often deep, he is afraid of blocking the way, so he must look to the future at a glance. "North and South" means nothing, meaning all directions. So what kind of scene is this? There are many tomb fields in the north and south mountains.
2. Qingming Night
At night in Tomb-Sweeping Day, the breeze is blowing gently and the moonlight is hazy. The railing made of jasper and the wall made of red bricks are the residence of the governor.
Appreciation: Qingming Night is the custom of going out for a walk in Tomb-Sweeping Day written by Bai Juyi. In ancient times, outing was also called "seeking spring" and "Spring Festival", which was popular in Jin Dynasty. Tomb-Sweeping Day is also a good time for people to have a spring outing. Before and after Tomb-Sweeping Day, beautiful spring scenery, getting close to nature and outing is another important activity of Tomb-Sweeping Day custom. At present, it is generally believed that this Tomb-Sweeping Day custom inherited the tradition of Shangsi Festival in March and was formed at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period.
3. Tomb-Sweeping Day
On the festive season, peaches and plums laugh, and the wild field family is sad.
Appreciation: This is the representative work of the poet, which expresses the impermanence of life in a contrasting way throughout. The first antithetical couplet contrasts the laughter of Tomb-Sweeping Day Taoli and the sadness of the lonely grave, revealing a merciless sigh to the world. With a turn of the pen, the couplets show the scene of the revival of all things in nature, which is in sharp contrast with the barren hills of Artemisia which are full of eyes in the latter two couplets.
From sweeping graves in Qingming Festival to begging by Qi people, from banning cold food to pushing mesons to burn them, no matter whether they are virtuous or stupid, they are all a pile of loess in the end.
