Lake poets Wordsworth's poem We Are Seven.

I. Full text of Chinese translation:

Seven of us.

Wordsworth (UK)

I met a little girl in the country:

She said she was only eight years old;

Thick hair rolled in from all directions.

Wrapped around her little head.

She brought the smell of mountains and wilderness,

Clothes are also rustic:

Her eyes are beautiful, very beautiful;

Her beauty makes me happy.

"Little girl, how many do you have?

Your brothers and sisters? "

"A few? One * * * equals seven, "she said.

It seems that I don't understand.

"Where are they? Please tell me about it. "

"Seven of us," she answered.

"The two men ran far away to the seaside,

Two are at Conway's house.

"My sister and brother,

They were both lying in graves,

I'm in a cabin in the grave,

Stay with mom, not far from them. "

"You said those two ran into the sea,

Two are at Conway's house,

But it is said that it is seven! Please tell me about it.

Good girl, how do you say this? "

"We are seven women and seven men."

The little girl immediately replied:

There are two lying in the grave.

Under that tree. "

"You run around, my little girl,

Your hands and feet are flexible;

Because two of them were buried in graves,

There are only five of you left. "

The little girl replied, "Their graves.

You can see a piece of green,

It's twelve steps away from mother's door,

They are getting closer.

"I often go there to knit my wool socks.

Sewing my handkerchief;

I often sit on the ground there,

Singing makes them happy.

"The sunset, just close to dusk.

If the weather is fine and it gets dark late,

I often bring a small soup bowl.

Go there to eat my dinner.

"The first one is Ginny's sister,

She lay in bed crying,

God relieved her of her pain,

She just walked away quietly.

"So she settled in the grave;

We're going out to play games,

The grass is not wet, just around her grave-

Me and John's brother.

When the ground is covered with snow,

I can slide down the slope,

John's brother is leaving again,

He lay down beside her. "

I said, "Now that they have ascended to heaven,

Then how many people are left? "

The little girl immediately replied again:

"Sir, there are seven of us."

Second, the original English:

There are seven of us

William wordsworth (1770–1850)

A simple child,

Took a deep breath,

Feel its life in every limb,

It should know what death is.

I met a little village girl: 5

She said she was eight years old;

Her hair is thick and curly.

Gather on her head.

She has a rural forest flavor,

She is wearing strange clothes: 10

Her eyes are fair, very fair;

Her beauty delighted me.

Sister and brother, Meidochan,

How many people do you have? '

How many/much? "Seven in all," she said. 15.

And looked at me doubtfully.

Where are they? I beg you to tell me. "

She replied, "There are seven of us;

The two of us are in Conway apartment,

Two have gone to sea.

Two of us were lying in the church yard,

My sister and my brother;

In the hut in the church yard, I

Living near them with my mother. '

You said those two were in Conway Dwell, 25.

Two of them went to sea,

But you are only seven years old! I pray you tell me,

Lovely girl, how is that possible? '

Meidochan replied:

Seven boys and girls are us; 30

Two of us were lying in the church yard,

Under the tree in the church yard. '

You run up, my Meidochan,

Your limbs are alive;

If two are in the churchyard, 35

You were only five years old. '

Their graves are green, and they may see them. "

Meidochan replied:

Twelve steps or more from my mother's door,

And they are side by side.

I often knit socks there,

My headscarf hem;

I sat on the ground,

Sing them a song.

Often after sunset, sir, 45

When the sun is shining,

I am wearing my little bell,

Eat my dinner there.

Sister Jane was the first to die;

At the age of 50, she lay moaning in bed.

Until god relieved her pain;

Then she left.

So she was put in the church yard;

When the grass is dry,

We played around her grave together, 55.

My brother John and I

When the earth is covered with snow,

I can run and slide,

My brother John was forced to leave,

He lay beside her. 60

"So, how many people are there," I said.

"If the two of them are in heaven,"

Meidochan answered quickly,

Ah, master! "The seven of us,"

But they are already dead; Those two people are dead! 65

Their souls are in heaven! '

Twas throws away words; Stationary

Meidochan will have her will,

Say, "no, we are seven!" "

Third, the poet introduced:

William wordsworth (1770- 1850), an English romantic poet, was once a poet laureate. His poetic theory has shaken the rule of English classical poetics and strongly promoted the innovation of English poetry and the development of Romantic movement. He is one of the most important English poets since the Renaissance, and his poem "Simple Life and Noble Ideas" is regarded as the school motto of Cable College of Oxford University.
