Say the same thing, they are all born in scholarly families and have a good educational atmosphere. Li Qingzhao's father, Li Gefei, was a famous scholar in the late Northern Song Dynasty, and his family had a large collection of books. Emily Dickinson's grandfather was the founder of Amherst State College, and her father was the chief lawyer in the town. Because they are all women, their minds are delicate and sensitive, and they have the same intuition about love, but they have different ideas and experiences because of different life experiences.
I used to read Li Qingzhao's poems when I was a child. I remember her walking back to the shore from a small pavilion in the middle of the lake, slightly drunk. She started the gull heron and smiled clearly. She pitied the face that was wrapped thinner than yellow flowers by the west wind and imagined the sadness that she stared at herself all day. Now I read Dickinson's poems and see that she has loved, been loved, hoped and despaired. She was lonely all her life, but it was because of loneliness that she was able to write her soul in poetry and pour out her own emotional fluctuations bit by bit.
Among Dickinson's 1775 poems, there are nearly 300 poems describing love-related themes, and there are 123 poems directly referring to "love", while Li Qingzhao expresses love implicitly and tactfully. Among the nearly 50 words that have been handed down to this day, although few words literally appear the word "love", most of them reveal the germination of love, the bitterness of missing, and where to go.
Dickinson visited Philadelphia on 1854. After listening to the sermon of Reverend Charles Wadsworth, she fell in love with this 40-year-old married man.
1858, Dickinson wrote a poem "I wish I were your summer", which is passionate and bold, and is willing to show love to the bright flowers in the hands of lovers:
28-year-old Dickinson is deeply addicted to love, so frank and straightforward, the attitude of western women towards love is vividly displayed, and the bud of love is vividly described by Li Qingzhao in her early work Little Red Lip:
Compared with Dickinson's passionate attitude, Li Qingzhao is introverted, and the shyness of girls is contained in that gentleness. 16- 17-year-old Li Qingzhao met 20-year-old Zhao Mingcheng, her future husband, at home. Her beautiful eyes and elegant manners made her move for the first time. What she wants to suck is the nectar of love.
Li Qingzhao is very lucky to fall in love with like-minded people, although she has not been trained for a lifetime; Dickinson, on the other hand, can only taste fruitless love alone, because she fell in love with a family.
She and Wordsworth finally met no more than four times. Wordsworth went to Dickinson's house twice in 1860 and 1880, and maybe there was another meeting in the middle of 1867. (Pan Xiahui)
From 65438 to 0862, Dickinson began to write to Captain Higginson. Higginson was the captain of the first black volunteer army in Carolina during the Civil War. After leaving the army, he entered the literary world and became the editor of Atlantic Monthly. Dickinson kept correspondence with Higginson from 1862 until her death, not only for the guidance of poetry creation, but also for spiritual comfort.
1862 is undoubtedly Emily Dickinson's extremely rich year. The main reason is that her feelings need to find sustenance and comfort in her poems.
This song "Why Do I Love You, Sir" vividly describes Dickinson's explanation of love. Love comes from nature. For no reason, love is love. The grass moves with the wind and its posture is difficult to control. Love will inevitably close its eyes in the face of lightning.
"If You Come in Autumn" is one of my favorite love poems by Emily Dickinson. It is also written around 1862, describing the waiting and yearning for love. I like her witty and naive words. If the beloved can come to her in autumn, she will sweep away the summer like a housekeeper. I admire Dickinson, who has such a positive attitude, no self-pity and no secret sadness when the waiting for love is fruitless. She will be at a loss, but when she is at a loss, she will say it directly.
After Li Qingzhao married Zhao Mingcheng at111,her husband, Zhao Mingcheng, was still a business student. He could not go home until the first and fifteenth day of each month, and then he often went to other places to study, mostly a few months apart. Yi An, who lives alone and misses her husband, also wrote many well-known famous sentences during this period, among which Yi Zhi Mei is the most famous:
Like Dickinson, Li Qingzhao is waiting for love. Chen Tingzhuo, a famous lyricist in Sun Yat-sen, commented: "Yi 'an's beautiful sentences, such as Plums and Plums, begin with seven words:' Red lotus leaves a jade in autumn', which is exquisite and really out of touch."
Li Qingzhao's solitude is in sharp contrast with Dickinson's playful life. If Dickinson's waiting mood is active, then Li Qingzhao's waiting is passive, and the bitter taste is more borne by her own heart. Even though her father provided Li Qingzhao with a more relaxed and free growth environment than other girls, the limitations of the times still made her abide by the duties of women. No matter how much you miss, you must bear it yourself. You can't blame your husband, let alone the court.
1 103, Li Qingzhao 19 years old, married for two years, but this year has been too much. When his father, Li Yin, was dismissed from his post due to a partisan dispute, the court ordered: "Children of party member, Shangshu Province, with or without officials, shall be investigated, and they shall be ordered to live outside, and shall not go to Quexia without permission". She had to leave her husband Zhao Mingcheng, the bustling Bianjing and move back to Mingshui. The newlyweds have to face such a long separation, and the slightest fluctuation in the court inadvertently affects the joys and sorrows of countless families.
Perhaps it is also from this time that Yi An's works are no longer unnecessary worries. This is the first time she began to face the cruel reality of personnel changes. She doesn't know that this is just the beginning. Young as she is, she can't predict that there will be so many vagrancies in her future life.
On the ninth double ninth festival in September, I still couldn't get together with my lover. Li Qingzhao's pen wandered on the paper and wrote this song "Drunken Flowers":
The bleak autumn wind shook off the thin yellow flowers, and the faint leisure worries have now turned into biting acacia. "Mo Tao is needless, the curtain rolls west wind, and people are thinner than yellow flowers" is particularly emotional. Tang Guizhang, a master of Ci-poetry, said in A Brief Interpretation of Ci-poetry in Tang and Song Dynasties, "In the end, the thinness of flowers makes you feel thin" (Tang Guizhang).
Sorrow and parting are entangled in Li Qingzhao's heart, and they are a ball. Perhaps this is the difference between oriental women and western women. Many of China's ancient poems describing the feelings of missing women are mostly like this, all of them are sad and crying, while western women pursue equality and freedom of thought, expect the arrival of love, and bravely pursue it.
With the decline of her husband's family, Li Qingzhao left Bianjing with her husband's family, and she and Zhao Mingcheng spent the last ten years in Qingzhou, leading a dull but happy life.
However, in 1 127, Li Qingzhao was 43 years old and the northern Jurchen nationality invaded Bianjing. Song Huizong and Qin Zong were captured, while Gao Zong fled south. Li Qingzhao also fled to the south with her husband.
1 129, Zhao Mingcheng died on the way to becoming the governor of Huzhou, and the pain of the country's ruin and husband's death was on Li Qingzhao's shoulders.
Compared with Li Qingzhao, Dickinson has not been carried forward by the times, not only because she is in the rising United States, unlike the ancient dynasty in China, which exerted so much power on her, but also because Dickinson, known as "Amherst's daughter", rarely went out after 1858, and lived, wrote poems and kept in correspondence with her friends in her own Xiaotian.
1878 or so, when Dickinson was almost 50 years old, she got along well with Otis Lord, a judge in Massachusetts. Lord once proposed to her, but she refused. After experiencing too many ups and downs in the world and emotional ups and downs, she is no longer willing to be bound by the form of marriage. (Zhou Jianxin)
I can't live with you is not written by Dickinson in her later years, but around 1863. It is a rich song in her life, but the understanding of love expressed in it is very consistent with Dickinson's feelings for the Lord. There is platonic love between Dickinson and Lord, and Dickinson did not have warm girlish feelings at that time. Love is her spiritual supplement. She is an independent individual, and her love is independent. She doesn't need and shouldn't live by marriage. (Zhang Ying)
1 132, like Dickinson, Li Qingzhao met a man named Zhang Ruzhou in nearly half a century. He is a colleague of my brother's government, who likes poetry, calligraphy and painting, looks elegant and graceful. Zhang Ruzhou has been around Li Qingzhao for a long time, giving her warm care and considerate care. Yi an, who has been widowed for three years, will be a little moved.
A weather-beaten woman just wants a gentle hand to touch her scarred soul. Zhang Ruzhou just appeared at this time. Unlike Dickinson, Li Qingzhao decided to marry this man. What's more, she misjudged a person. Zhang Ruzhou collects paintings, stones and jade just to please Li Qingzhao. Changed her face after marriage and often beat and scolded her.
At that time, Zhang Ruzhou was reckless in suing her husband for breaking the law, but she didn't know where Li Qingzhao was an ordinary woman. Even if no one dares to do it, she will do it without hesitation for her own dignity. In prison, Li Qingzhao sued Zhang Ruzhou for divorce.
After so many hardships, Li Qingzhao saw through everything and looked down on everything. When I smelled the green plum, it seemed that there was a sweet and sour aroma in the porter of the old house after decades of time and space, but I looked back and saw that Li Qingzhao was alone now.
The following song "Slow Sound" is one of the most famous words of Li Qingzhao in her later years, not only because the rhymes of the overlapping words are catchy, but also because the sadness in it is as cold as the sea water in winter and stings people's hearts.
Love is a distant and untouchable memory for her, and she despairs of it.
After all, she is different from Dickinson. Love is indispensable in Dickinson's life, but marriage is not so important, and a person's life is not necessarily so gloomy. Li Qingzhao lived in China in the Song Dynasty and was imprisoned by strict ethical codes and moral rules. A woman without a husband seemed to have no day to rely on. Losing her husband is a fatal blow to ordinary women, but it is also a ruthless polishing of fate for strange girls like Li Qingzhao. The family I have been looking for all my life is now in blowing in the wind. At dusk, rain falls on my heart, whether it is rain or silent tears. Who knows?
Li Qingzhao and Dickinson are both outstanding female poets in their respective countries, leaving an indelible mark in the history of literature.
Henry James, a famous American writer, said that "Dickinson's poems depict a spiritual landscape", and Qian Zhongshu, a famous literary researcher in China, said when talking about a common theme in Dickinson's poems, "If you get what you want, you will be disappointed and hate ... Emily Dickinson, an American poetess, is called" a sumptous destiny "with greedy eyes and boring stomach.
Li Qingzhao is a synonym in Ji Xianlin's eyes, and it is Guo Moruo's "The former residence beside Baotu Spring on the Daming Lake is in the depths of the willow, and the literary talent in the epigraphy of Shuyu has the legacy of the former master" (Hai Xiaohong).
The expectation and struggle for love are bittersweet. The understanding of women in the East and the West is different because of cultural differences, while Li Qingzhao and Dickinson have different faces because of their respective experiences. Emily Dickinson's delicate feelings are "he gropes for your soul with his fingers, like a pianist stroking the keys" (Emily Dickinson), and Li Qingzhao's indelible feelings for home and country are "dyeing willow smoke, playing the flute and knowing how much spring is" (Tang Guizhang).
The frustration in love gave Dickinson a chance to roam in her own soul world. The change of the current situation and the drift of fate made Li Qingzhao have a deeper understanding of love and life. It is precisely because they have had painful experiences that they can finally cultivate other people's poems.
