Dear, I wish we were a pair of Bai Niao on the waves!
The meteor has not died yet, and we are tired of its shining;
The sky is low, and the faint light of the blue star in the morning light
awakens an immortal sadness in my heart and yours.
A little drowsiness escapes from the dew-wet lily and rose dream;
Oh, dear, don't dream of the shining of the meteor,
Don't dream of the faint light of the blue star lingering in the dew:
I wish we could become Bai Niao on the waves: you and me!
I am haunted by countless islands and Dannan lakeside,
where years will forget us and sorrow will never come again;
In a flash, we will be far away from the erosion of roses, lilies and starlight.
As long as we are Bai Niao, dear, wandering in the waves!
