A Brief Introduction to the Pen Club of South Asian Poets;

The Southeast Asian Chinese Poets' Pen Club (hereinafter referred to as "Pen Club") was established in 2006, initially initiated by 14 Chinese poets from six countries including the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia.

The sponsors of 65,438+04 include Yunhe (Philippines, deceased), Ming Che, Chen, Wu An (Malaysia, deceased), Jay (Malaysia), Akiyama (Malaysia), Lingnan people (Thailand), Zeng Xin (Thailand), Haiting (Brunei), (Singapore) and Guo.

On the Dragon Boat Festival in 2006, 14 promoter was invited to attend the "International Symposium on Chinese Poetry in Southeast Asia" sponsored by China Fujian, Hong Kong, Macao and Overseas Chinese Literature Research Association. At the meeting, they held a pen meeting in propose to create, aiming at promoting exchanges and mutual assistance among Chinese poets in Southeast Asia and further promoting the level and development of Chinese poetry creation in Southeast Asia.

Pen Club has been successfully held for eight sessions. The first Southeast Asian Chinese Poets' Pen Club was held in Fuzhou, Fujian, China (2006), followed by Shaoguan, Guangdong, China (2007), Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam (2008), Zunyi, Guizhou, China (20 10) and Qingdao, Shandong, China (20 165438). At the same time, Southeast Asian countries have successively edited and published nine Southeast Asian poetry journals.

In addition, PEN has published seven collections of comments on Chinese poetry in Southeast Asia: The Charm of Banana, The Hot Wind Drifting on the River, The Land of Our Motherland and Our Motherland, Beautiful China People Connecting Us, Climbing to a Higher Level in the Storm, Taihua Literature-The Seventh Southeast Asian Chinese Poets' Conference Album and Comments on the Eighth Southeast Asian Chinese Poets' Conference.

On June 9th, 20 13, International PEN established the Southeast Asian Chinese Poets Network (www.seacpw.com), which added a new communication platform for poets and literary friends from all over the world.
