Yuan Guan, formerly known as Yuan Dongfeng, 1982, was born in Chengde, Hebei. He is a young poet, writer and playwright. In 2003, he studied in the Department of Computer and Information Management of Hebei Agricultural University, and then worked part-time in Hebei College of Contemporary Literature. In 2007, he published a collection of essays, Notes on the North. In 2006, the "rural baby" in Kuancheng, Hebei Province was included in the "Post-80s Writers List", which caused intense media coverage.
