Poetry is like a fluttering butterfly, attracting my curious eyes; like a jumping piece of music, attracting me to sing; like the title page of a story, attracting me to read its story Never end... Poetry, the highlight of my extracurricular life; poetry, the fantasy beauty of my childhood; poetry, my companion for many years. When I was a child, I read and recited poems over and over again at home. My father always told me: "Don't recite it like this, you have to understand the meaning of the poem." But I always couldn't listen, it was like a gust of wind "whirring" Blow through. All I know is that this is homework assigned by the teacher, and that’s it. Only now do I know that I was wrong at that time, because every line of the poem has a deep meaning and contains the poet's emotions. It made me want to feel their emotions, and in this way I made a permanent friend with poetry. I often compiled poems into songs one after another, which made me feel excited and wanted to write a poem myself. So I picked up a pen and wrote: The night sky is dark, and the tranquility in the sky makes me feel relaxed and happy. I can only hear the sound of the wind and grass in nature. In the middle of the night, the sun, moon and stars in the sky reminded me of the past, which will never be erased from my heart. Late at night, the clouds in the sky are colorful, affectionate and mysterious, which only the night sky can paint! It makes me extremely addicted. I think, this is poetry! I am very excited, I can write poetry. I take these short sentences, show them everywhere, read them everywhere, I hope others will agree, agree that this is poetry, this is my poetry ·When I showed it to my father with great interest, he laughed, and there was no other language except laughter. I was anxious, "Is this a poem?" Maybe he was afraid of discouraging my enthusiasm, so he lied to me. "This is poetry, this is what poetry is like." These few lines of poetry, these few sentences, make me love to write poetry, love to read poetry, and love to memorize poetry.
