Zhang's "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" is known as a poem among poems, but it is an isolated one. In fact, it is written for everyone. It's a pity that there are only two poems left in his Complete Tang Poetry, which is said to have been lost.
Li Bai is a great romantic poet, and his representative works are numerous except Shu Dao Nan. His contribution to poetry has never been seen before.
Du Fu is a great realistic poet. Because he was down and out all his life, he sympathized with the sufferings of the lower classes, so he wrote, "The wine under the door stinks, and the road has frozen bones." Famous sentences such as "There are thousands of buildings in Ande, and the poor in the world are happy to produce" have been passed down to this day. Representative works include Three Officials and Three Partings.
Wang Wei is regarded as an idyllic poet. With pastoral landscape poems as its main feature, it was elegant and distant, and it was unique at that time. His poems are diverse in style, especially five-character poems, which are unique in style, and there are many frontier poems with high style.
Han Yu, the first of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties, praised Li and Du Fu in his poems and opposed gaudiness. The sentence pattern with ancient prose as poetry has a great influence on the prose in Song Dynasty.
Yong Zongyuan and Han Yu started the ancient prose movement together, which was one of the eight masters in Tang and Song Dynasties. His poems are mostly lyrical and describe mountains and rivers, and their style is bright, clean, simple, steep, sober and gloomy, which is outstanding in getting married. You Gong said five words, and later generations compared his pastoral poems with Tao Yuanming and Wei.
Liu Yuxi and Liu Zongyuan were literary friends in his early years, and Bai Juyi were poetry friends in his later years. His poems have a strong political color. Besides, he is unprepared, and many famous works are well known. His poetic style is calm, fresh and lively. His Zhi Zhu and Liuzhi poems are unique among the Tang poems.
Bai Juyi advocates that "articles are written for things and poems are written for things." He advocated using poetry to make up for current politics and vent human feelings, and was an advocate of the New Yuefu Movement. His poems are divided into four categories: satire, leisure, sentimentality and miscellaneous methods. His Song of Eternal Sorrow and Pipa Journey have the reputation of being the first in Long song in ancient and modern times. His poems are well-known. It is said that it was widely circulated abroad before his death and had a great influence on the literature of the Heian Dynasty in Japan. He became attached to Yuan Zhen in his early years, also known as "Bai Yuan Style", and sang with Liu Yuxi in his later years, also known as "Bai Liu".
Li He, when he was young, had the ambition to "bury the clouds", so his name was broadcast early. His poems are sentimental, harmful to nature, lamenting that youth is easy to decline, from which sadness comes, or expressing feelings for heaven, or fantasizing about ghosts. He is especially good at classical songs, and with his unique talent, he deliberately strives for innovation, is good at casting ci, gallops imagination, and uses myths and legends to create mysterious artistic conception and beautiful images, which is unique in the poetry circles of the middle Tang Dynasty. Unfortunately, he died at a young age.
Li Shangyin, who was pushed out by the dispute between Niu and Li, was frustrated and down in the world. He entered the shogunate several times and was placed under the fence. His poems mostly show his embrace and life experience, revealing strong sentimental feelings. He is good at seven-character rhythm and unique, and his epic and untitled poems are extremely high. Combining literary talent, Du Fu's work, Han Yu's strangeness and Li's magnificence, the original "Western Henan Style" is elegant, gorgeous and sentimental, which has a far-reaching impact on future generations. In the late Tang Dynasty, he kept pace with Du Mu and was known as "Little Du Li".
In addition to the above ten poets, there are many famous poets in the Tang Dynasty, such as Meng Haoran, Wang Changling, Liu Changqing, Wei, Du Mu and Wen. They all left brilliant poems in the history of China literature, as can be seen from the above ten poems.
Besides, people have different opinions about their love for poetry, so it is difficult to make an accurate judgment. This is just my humble opinion, I hope people of insight can give me some advice!
The top three poets in the Tang Dynasty were not Li Bai, Du Fu and Bai Juyi, but Wang Wei, Du Mu, Li Shangyin, Wang Changling, Meng Haoran, Liu Yuxi and Wei.
1, Li Bai, a poet fairy, whose unrestrained, magnificent, unrestrained, sonorous and elegant poetic style is far away!
2. Du Fu, a poet and saint, is depressed and frustrated, compassionate, concerned about the country and the people, and a generation of poetic style, which the world has looked up to so far!
3, Bai Juyi-the king of poetry, poetry is as plain as words, and comes at the right time, combining things to create another style that almost everyone can read.
4. Wang Wei-Shi Fo, there is a poem in the painting, and there is a picture in the poem, which is amazing?
5, Du Mu-the poetic style is hearty and heroic, and it is a wonderful work outside the prosperous Tang Dynasty!
6. Li Shangyin-This poem is novel in conception, beautiful in style, touching and moving in beauty, and it is a master of allusions among poets in the late Tang Dynasty!
I won't introduce the others one by one, release them!
In addition to the famous poems of Wang Changling, Liu Yuxi, Wang Wei, Meng Haoran, He, and Wang Zhihuan, there is also a preface for Ge, who is the "four outstanding poets in the early Tang Dynasty", Zhang who wrote the whole Tang poem "Moonlight on a Spring River" and Chen Ziang who wrote "Before me, where are those lost years?" Behind me, where is the next generation? . At the peak of poetry in the Tang Dynasty, great poets shone like stars, illuminating the night sky of history! My generation can only admire!
Ranking poets is a thankless task. Since Shi Shujun invited me, let me talk about my top ten poets in the Tang Dynasty. This topic has ranked Li Bai and Du Fu as the champion and runner-up, so we will start from the third place.
First of all, let me talk about my criteria for ranking poets in the Tang Dynasty. I don't want to rank poets by whose poems are the best, whose poems are the most beautiful, whose poems are the most simple and whose poems are the most popular. I want to divide the Tang poetry into three periods: the early Tang Dynasty, the prosperous Tang Dynasty and the middle and late Tang Dynasty. As we know, the poetic style of a period was influenced by the social environment and social thoughts at that time, thus showing different styles. Su Dongpo said that only the most acute poets can perceive the trend of the times, and they lead the poetic style of an era with their own experiences and styles. Such a poet is the one who has made great contributions to Tang poetry. This is the principle of my ranking.
The third place definitely belongs to Bai Juyi. Bai Juyi belongs to the middle Tang Dynasty, and that heroic spirit has disappeared, replaced by a middle-aged silence. People like quiet, and they begin to pursue that simple and lively style of writing in literature, which is most like Yuefu folk songs. Bai Juyi felt the change of society, and advocated the new Yuefu movement with his good friend Yuan Zhen, arguing that "articles should be written in time, songs and poems should be written in time". On the one hand, poetry can profoundly reflect the reality of life, on the other hand, poetry can enter the homes of ordinary people and be understood. This is called the New Yuefu Movement. He was called "Bai Yuan" with Yuan Zhen and "Bai Liu" with Liu Yuxi, and was known as "Poet Magic" and "Poet King". Moreover, Bai Juyi has more than 3,000 poems in his life, which are well-known and deeply loved by the people. Therefore, from Bai Juyi's advocacy of changing the style of poetry and the quality and quantity of poetry, it should rank third.
Fourth place Wang Wei. Wang Wei was one of the most famous poets in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. The main reason why he ranked fourth is that he created the school of landscape poetry in the prosperous Tang Dynasty and also led the trend of Zen poetry in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Wang Wei's early poems were impassioned, chivalrous and frontier poems. After middle age and old age, people began to enter and leave Buddhism, which was greatly influenced by Buddhist thought. His life is a trinity of official, seclusion and Zen, and his poems are also the fusion of mountains and rivers and Zen. His poems are good at creating artistic conception, which Su Dongpo called painting in poetry and poetry in painting. His poems and paintings also led the development of China literati painting. His "My Retreat in Zhongnanshan" is full of profound philosophy of life and Zen.
After middle age, I have a strong kind heart, and I didn't settle down at the edge of Mount Zhongnan until my later years. Interest concentration is often unique to play and have a happy thing to enjoy self-appreciation. Sometimes go to the end of the water to seek the source, or sit and watch the ever-changing clouds rise. Occasionally I met a village elder in the Woods, and I chatted with him until I often forgot to go home.
The fifth place is Chen Ziang. Maybe we are not familiar with Chen Ziang's poems, but Chen Ziang has made great contributions to the development of Tang poetry. He is also the person who leads the poetry style in the early Tang Dynasty and a banner of poetry innovation in the early Tang Dynasty. In the early Tang Dynasty, Qi Liang's poetic style was still popular in the poetry circle, which was very soft, gorgeous and even ambiguous. Chen Ziang severely criticized this poetic style and advocated learning from the Han and Wei Dynasties and taking the retro route. Under his guidance, the poetic style in the early Tang Dynasty became fresh and vigorous. For example, his famous Taiwan Province ancient song: Before me, where were those lost years? Behind me, where are the future generations? . Only the boundless universe, boundless, can't stop the tears full of sadness.
The sixth place is Meng Haoran. Meng Haoran didn't rank among the top ten poets in the Tang Dynasty, and I'm afraid Li Bai was embarrassed to be the first. Because Li Bai is a die-hard fan of Meng Haoran. At that time, many famous poets were Meng Haoran's little brothers. Such as Wang Wei and Wang Changling. It is not that Meng Haoran is old, but that his poetry is of high level and has made great contributions. Meng Haoran went home to become a professional hermit after failing to seek an official position, thus becoming a famous pastoral master in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. We can say that in pastoral poetry, in how to be a professional hermit happily, who dares to be the second except Tao Yuanming? Only Meng Haoran! Night parking on Jiande River;
Stop the boat in a foggy small state, when new worries come to the guest's heart. The vastness of the wilderness is deeper than trees, and the moon is very close to the moon.
Seventh place: rachel. Liu Yuxi was a distinctive poet in the middle Tang Dynasty. When the poetic style of the mid-Tang Dynasty began to be dull, his poems maintained a high-spirited spirit, so he was called a poet. His fame and achievements are no less than those of Bai Juyi, so he is also called Bai Liu. I think Liu Yuxi's highest achievement is his nostalgic poems.
The old days of Xibao Mountain.
When Wang Jun's ships set out from Yizhou, the position of the prince of Wu disappeared. The long Zhang Qian chain sank to the bottom of the river, and a flag was lowered on the stone wall.
How many sad past in life, the mountains still remain cold. Since then, the world has belonged to one another, and rushes are whistling in the old base.
Eighth place: Li Shangyin. Li Shangyin's life is a tragic one, just as his friends wrote about him. He failed in his great talent, but he never overcame it. Birds crow and flowers fall, bamboo withers and tung withers and phoenix doesn't come. He was caught in the whirlpool of the struggle between Niu and Li, and he was never liberated all his life. Therefore, his poems are full of sad and hazy artistic conception. This style also led the poetry style after the late Tang Dynasty. His most famous works are Untitled and Love Series. Untitled:
It was a long time ago that I met her, but since we separated, the time has become longer, the east wind is blowing and a hundred flowers are blooming. Silkworms in spring will weave until they die, and candles will drain the wick every night.
In the morning, she saw her hair cloud changing in the mirror, but she bravely faced the cold of the moonlight with her evening song. There are not many roads to Pengshan. Oh, Bluebird, listen! -Give me what she said! .
Ninth place: Du Mu. Du Mu was a prodigal son when he was young, but he still wanted to be a prime minister or something, because he did have political and military talents, but life made him a prodigal son. His poems are best at describing history and nostalgia.
Tenth place: Li He. The poetry of this young genius, as if inspired by God, is full of fantasy and magical romanticism. It can be said that Li He's poems are always exploring people's life and death, as well as the plight of survival. This style with special philosophical thinking is extremely rare in the Tang Dynasty. Golden bronze immortals sing China songs:
Maoling Liulang is a guest in the autumn wind, and I heard Ma Si's ignorance at night. The osmanthus tree in the painting column hangs autumn fragrance, and the soil in the thirty-six palaces is green. Wei Guan led the car thousands of miles, and the sour wind in Dongguan shot at his eyes.
Empty sent John out of the palace door, thinking of your tears like lead water. Declining orchid to send guests to Xianyang Road, if the sky is old. The lonely moon is bleak, and the acropolis is low.
Not to mention the Tang Dynasty, in the history of China literature, few people surpassed Li Bai and Du Fu. Only Qu Yuan, Cao Zhi, Tao Yuanming, Li Bai and Du Fu are top poets.
Besides Li Bai and Du Fu, there are eight people left. I will try to choose them.
Bai Juyi
Bai Juyi, whether he likes his poems or not, must admit that he is a first-class poet. He pursues both refined and popular tastes when writing poems, so there will be more vernacular in his poems. It is obviously biased to judge that poetry is not good because of vernacular. Bai Juyi's Pipa Xing and Song of Eternal Sorrow, not to mention these masterpieces handed down from generation to generation, are all unique five-character poems, such as:
In just 20 words, it describes the scene of drinking with friends on a snowy night, which spread to the poet's enthusiasm. Seemingly simple, you can't write it without complete kung fu.
Li shangyin
Li Shangyin was an unavoidable figure in the Tang Dynasty. Compared with Du Li, he may lack heavy feelings, but in terms of the number of fans, Du Li may not have as many fans as Li Shangyin. Li Shangyin and Bai Juyi can be regarded as two extremes of poets. Bai Juyi is afraid that others can't understand his poems, while Li Shangyin always seems to be afraid that others can understand his poems. He always puts a lot of good intentions together, but it makes people feel puzzling.
Many people who like Li Shangyin's poems like them, without giving reasons. This is mainly because Li Shangyin's poems, like a beautiful woman, have been attracted by appearance before understanding the connotation. Li Shangyin's poems, take out any sentence, are extremely aesthetic:
Du Mu
Like Li Bai and Du Fu in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, Li Shangyin and Du Mu in the late Tang Dynasty were also called. Most scholars in the late Tang Dynasty like to write metrical poems and quatrains, but they are not good at long five-character ancient poems. But this is what Du Mu is good at. His long poem and five-character ancient poems are vigorous and powerful.
Du Mu claimed that in his poems, he was "seeking the highest, not being strange, not being involved in vulgarity, not being in the present, not being in the ancient times", and paying attention to "feeling resentment, talking about the chaos between the monarch and the minister, so as to arouse people's aspirations".
Du Mu had a romantic life. He came to Yangzhou several times and left many well-known poems, the most famous of which are:
Han Yu
In the anthology of Tang poetry in past dynasties, Han Yu can keep pace with Li Bai and Du Fu in quantity. Some people even think that the achievements of Han Yu's poetry have caught up with Du Li in the Tang Dynasty, ranking third. Later generations also spoke highly of his poems.
Ye Xie on Han Poetry: "Han Yu is one of the great changes in Tang poetry. Its strength is great, its thinking is heroic, and its rise is the originator. "
Zhao Yi's "Ou Bei Shi Hua" says: "A poet must be tempered before he can succeed."
The most famous is his masterpiece "Moving Left to Languan to See Grandnephew and Grandson":
Han Xiang is the prototype of Han Xiangzi.
Wang Wei
Wang Wei believes in Buddhism, but he is not the kind of person who was born passively. If he needs to be an official and contribute to the court, he will immediately give up seclusion.
Wang Wei's poems are fresh and elegant. Tao Yuanming's pastoral poems and Xie Lingyun's landscape poems meet here. It is precisely because of this convergence that Su Dongpo's evaluation was made:
meng haoran
It is understandable that Meng Haoran wanted to be an official in the first half of his life, but after he became disheartened, he began to wander around, degenerate and lead a life of traveling around.
Meng Haoran's poems are mostly five-character poems, and the themes are mostly landscapes, pastoral seclusion and travel. Although Meng Haoran failed to make a difference in his official career, he made many friends. He is good friends with poets such as Wang Wei, Li Bai and Wang Changling.
His masterpiece is Passing the Old People's Village;
Xu hun
Xu Hun was a famous poet in the late Tang Dynasty, who was good at metrical poems and quatrains. 3 1 seven-character poem is selected from the anthology of Tang poetry "Three Hundred Poems of Tang Poetry".
Because he often uses the word "water" in his poems, he is called "Xu Hun's thousand poems are wet". The evaluation of him is polarized, but it has been highly discussed in the past dynasties. Many people praised or belittled Xu Hun's remarks, which is also a rare phenomenon among poets in the Tang Dynasty.
Representative works: East Building of Xianyang City;
Li he
Li He's poems are rich in imagination and artistic conception, and he often uses some strange words, which is very different from other poets in the Tang Dynasty. Later generations commented on him: "After Dali, Li He was the only one who solved the problems left over by Yuefu. The color is wonderful, but the text is mostly outside the article. Engraved in words, it is awkward. " Later critics called Li He "Shi Gui".
Li He is a descendant of Li Tang's royal family. He wanted to serve his country wholeheartedly, but he was frustrated repeatedly. His "South Garden" is a portrayal of his helplessness in serving the country;
Of course, in addition to the above poets, there are many poets worth reading, such as Wang Changling, Gao Shi, Cen Can, Liu Yuxi, Liu Changqing and so on.
1. In addition to Li Bai and Du Fu, Bai Juyi is the most outstanding poet in the Tang Dynasty, and even Bai Juyi can be as famous as Li Bai and Du Fu. Li Bai and Du Fu were born in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. At that time, people's lives were rich and comfortable, and women's status was also very high. Women's clothes are really beautiful, bold and individual. People take satiety as the beauty, eat as much as they want and don't lose weight. Cities such as Chang 'an and Yangzhou have become international metropolises, so culture is also the most splendid era. From the court to the people, the market is broad. Bai Juyi was born in the most declining period of the Tang Dynasty. At that time, people could not even eat and wear warm clothes. How can they like poetry and lyrics? So the superb level was buried by the times. In this way, he was also a great poet in the Tang Dynasty. His "Song of Eternal Sorrow" and "Pipa Journey" have been passed down through the ages. His short poems are boundless grass on the plain. They come and go with the seasons, but they are not completely burned by wildfire, and they are tall again in the spring breeze. It is widely known.
2. The fourth Wang Wei, a veritable master of Wang Wei, is proficient in poetry, painting and calligraphy. When Li Bai and Du Fu were not famous, Wang Wei was already famous for his "Remembering My Shandong Brothers on Vacation in the Mountain". Wang Wei's poems have been spread through the ages in frontier fortress, landscape poems, regular poems and quatrains.
3. The fifth Liu Yuxi, because his "Humble Room Inscription" thinks that he lived completely, just like the old Xie Wang Tang Qianyan written in Wuyi Lane, flying into the homes of ordinary people. No matter what kind of adversity, you can face it with a smile. As described in autumn poems, since ancient times, autumn has been sad and lonely. I say autumn is better than spring. There is no one in the clear sky in Wan Li, and a crane, Ling Yunfei, has aroused my meditation on the blue sky.
4. Sixth Meng Haoran, an idyllic poet, his poems are desolate and fresh, with the earthy flavor of rice seedlings. Just like the scene described in this song "Passing the Old Village": So people have chickens and millet, and you entertain me on your farm. Green Woods surround the village and green hills are located outside the city. Open the window facing the valley vegetable garden and pass the glass to talk about crops. Please come here to see chrysanthemums when the ninth festival comes. There is also the famous poem "Spring Dawn". On this morning in spring, I woke up easily, and birds were singing everywhere. How many flowers fall after a stormy night.
5. VII was a very talented poet in the early Tang Dynasty, who was good at the Five Laws and Five Exquisites, among which Farewell to the Deputy Governor to Shu was the most classic:
Across the wall of Sanqin, across a layer of fog, across a river.
We said goodbye sadly, and our two officials went in opposite directions.
After all, the world is just a small place.
Why are you wandering at the fork in the road? The child is holding a towel.
Among them, "However, when China holds our friendship, heaven is still our neighbor", these two sentences are well-known, well-known stories throughout the ages. His immortal work "Preface to Wang Tengting" is a masterpiece that scholars of all ages can't surpass. Among them, "Sunset and lonely Qi Fei, autumn waters and sky are the same color" is an eternal story.
6. The eighth place was Wang Changling, with 472 Seven Wonders of the Tang Dynasty, of which 74 were Wang Changling, accounting for almost one sixth. Later generations said, "The Seven Musts went to Wang Changling and made it. This song "Out of the Great Wall" was closed in the Qin, Ming and Han Dynasties, but the Long March people didn't return it. If Wei Qing, who attacked Longcheng, and Li Guang, the flying general, were alive today, the Huns would not be allowed to go south to spend their horses in Yinshan. Very spectacular. There is also this song "Parting with Xin Jian in Furong Inn", which entered Wu on a cold rainy night and was now seeing Fujian Lonely. Friends, if my friends in Luoyang invite me; Just say I'm still Bing Xin Okho, and stick to my faith! Write a friend's parting feelings and rewrite your integrity.
7. The ninth Du Mu, Du's N generation, was an important official in Korean history. His family inherited the style of poetry and laid a solid foundation when he was young. He took part in the imperial examination and made Luoyang paper expensive with a poem "Epang Palace Fu". His first wish is to be an official and use his talents to enrich the country and the people. But he was born at an inopportune time. At that time, the infighting in the imperial court dragged a great middle Tang Dynasty into the late Tang Dynasty and ruined his ambition and talent. So, relying on his wealth, he sang at night in Yanhua Lane, a metropolis in Yangzhou, as described in Farewell: lonely rivers and lakes carry wine, with a thin waist and a light palm. Yangzhou's ten years, like a dream, wake up, but in the brothel women this is a fickle reputation. Although there is no way to serve the country, his poems and songs are extremely accomplished. Since ancient times, he has written 524 works, such as Bo Qinhuai, Mountain Walking and Qingming, which are well-known and household names.
8. The 10th Li He, known as "Shi Gui", is another famous romantic poet in the history of China literature after Qu Yuan and Li Bai. The masterpiece "Song of Golden Bronze Immortals in Han Dynasty"
In the poem, "sour wind shines on your eyes", "clear tears like lead water" and "if the sky is affectionate, the sky will grow old" can be called a poem from the gods, and its artistic conception is wonderful and unparalleled. There are always amazing words in his poems. His novels "Dark clouds crush the city to destroy", "The cock screams and the world is white" and "The desert sand is like snow, and the Yanshan moon is like a hook". Waiting is a good sentence passed down through the ages.
