Lu You is a famous patriotic poet in China. He wrote more than 9,000 poems in the Southern Dynasties and the Song Dynasty in his life. He is the earliest existing poet in China, and has had a great influence on the poetry creation in the Song Dynasty and future generations. These contents are not only displayed in the author's poems, but also involved in a considerable part of the author's ci. On the one hand, these poems show the author's strong desire to recover lost land and strive for the reunification of the motherland, on the other hand, they also express the author's own ambition to build a solid career. The content is extensive, some describe the brave behavior of combat troops, some describe the scenic environment on the front line of combat, and some describe the chaotic people's life. What these poems have in common is Du Yu's strong sense of national hardship and homeland, which entrusts the soldiers with a sense of mission to pursue national unity and embodies the author's personal value system. The poems reveal the author's great patriotic feelings from different aspects, showing tragic style characteristics on the whole, leaving rich materials for the world and making the poet's patriotic image of the country and the people more three-dimensional. In view of this situation, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the poet's military poems from the ideological content and artistic skills.
