Don’t be afraid of clouds covering your eyes, just because you are at the highest level. Where does it come from?

From two poems.

1. The first sentence comes from "Qilu·He Mr. Liu Yazi" by the modern poet Mao Zedong.

Original text:

Drinking tea in the Guangdong Sea will not be forgotten, and the leaves in Yuzhou are yellow. Thirty-one years later, I returned to my old country and read the beautiful chapter when the flowers are falling.

Complaining too much will prevent heartbreak. People should take a broad view of the long-term scenery. Don't forget that the water in Kunming Pond is shallow, and it is better to watch fish than in Fuchun River.

Translation:

The scene when we first met, drinking tea and talking freely in Guangzhou, is still unforgettable. We met again in Chongqing, and you asked me for poems. It was autumn at that time. The time when the vegetation is withered and yellow.

I came to Peiping for the first time, and after thirty-one years of ups and downs, I returned to the old capital. In this late spring season with colorful falling flowers, I was fortunate enough to read your gorgeous poems.

You encounter some unpleasant things and complain too much. Beware of harming your physical and mental health, and open your eyes to measure all scenery.

Don’t say that the water in Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace in Beijing is too shallow. Watching fish here is far better than in the Fuchun River.

2. The second sentence comes from "Climbing Feilai Peak" by Wang Anshi, a writer of the Northern Song Dynasty.

Original text:

Flying to the Qianxun Pagoda on the mountain, I heard the rooster crow and saw the sun rising. ?

Don’t be afraid of clouds covering your eyes, because you are at the highest level.

Translation:

It is said that from the very high tower of Feilai Peak, you can see the rising sun when the rooster crows.

I am not afraid that the clouds will block my sight, just because I am at the top now.

Appreciation of the works "Qilu·with Mr. Liu Yazi" and "Climbing Feilai Peak":

The first four lines of the poem "Qilu·with Mr. Liu Yazi" recount the three interactions between the poet and Liu Yazi . Expressing deep concern for Liu Yazi and other patriotic intellectuals who are inclined to revolution. The last four sentences provide enlightenment and advice to Liu Yazi's complaints, and express his ardent expectations.

This poem is a private harmony between old friends. In Mao Zedong's poem, he used the way of singing and singing to reminisce about the past and talk about the past, and to provide frank and sincere enlightenment and advice to express his love and care for his close friends. This poem is pure and elegant, with gentle and elegant language and long-lasting affection. It seems light but has a sweet taste. It has the power of enlightenment and inspiration.

The first sentence of the poem "Climbing Feilai Peak" describes the height of the ancient pagoda on the peak and the height of one's own footing. The second sentence cleverly depicts the glorious scene of the rising sun seen on the tower, showing the poet's vitality and full confidence in the future. The last two sentences of the poem follow the first two sentences to describe the scene, discuss and express emotions, making the poem both vivid and profound in philosophy.

The ancients often worried about floating clouds covering the sun and evil ministers covering up the wise, but the poet added the word "not afraid". It shows the poet's courage and determination to be far-sighted in politics and not afraid of evil.
