Seek a western legend.
Sai Ren, a mermaid in Greek mythology, has a beautiful singing voice, which often seduces passers-by and sinks the ship on the rocks. They are the daughters of the river god Ekeroeus (including Teles, Reading, Morpe, Seliope, Parthenonpe, Lekosia, Ligiago Lao Fen Yunus) and were born from his blood. Because they lost in the music competition with the Muse, the Muse pulled out their wings and made them unable to fly. The muse wove a crown for herself with Sai Ren's beautiful wings as a symbol of victory. After losing her wings, Sai Ren had to swim near the coastline, and sometimes she would become a mermaid, using her musical talent to attract passing sailors. The island where they live is close to the Messina Strait, and another siren Shula (see Scylla) and kaleb Dis are also there, so the area is full of the bones of the victims. When the hero Odysseus led the fleet through the Messina Strait, he had already learned the fatal temptation of Sai Ren in advance, so he ordered the sailors to seal their ears with wax and tie themselves to the mast of the ship, so that they could pass safely. Orpheus, the son of Apollo, who was good at playing the harp, also successfully passed through the place where Sai Ren lived. He silenced Sai Ren's singing with the harp. Some people think that the myth of mermaid can be explained by dolphins, seals and other marine creatures, because they also play in the waves, bask in the sun and are friendly to human beings. If they stay out of water for a long time, they will also die.
