The first collection of romantic poems in the history of China literature is The Songs of the South. The Songs of Chu was edited by Liu Xiang in the Western Han Dynasty, which included the works of Qu Yuan, Song Yu, Dong Fangshuo and Liu Xiang, and concentrated on Qu Yuan's romantic literary thought.
