Two Ancient Poems of Song Lu Meipo Xue Mei

Xue Mei

[Song] Lu Meipo

one

For the sake of spring, Xue Mei refused to surrender, and the poet put down his manuscript fee to comment on this chapter.

The snow in Mei Xu Xun is three points white, but the snow has lost a kind of plum fragrance.

Both plum blossom and snowflake think that they have occupied all the spring scenery, and no one will give up. It is difficult for poets to write critical articles. To be fair, plum blossoms make snowflakes crystal white, but snowflakes lose to plum blossoms.

Secondly,

Plum without snow without spirit, snow without poetry.

The sunset poem is full of snow all day, and Mei is ten springs.

Translation:? Plum blossoms are in full bloom but it doesn't snow, which doesn't reflect the noble spirit of plum blossoms (proud of snow). When it snows, it doesn't know how to sing poems to praise the beautiful scenery, and it becomes a vulgar and ordinary person (a person who doesn't know how to appreciate it). When I wrote this poem at sunset in winter evening, it just snowed again. Then look at the plum blossom snowflakes in full bloom, as gorgeous and vibrant as spring.

Extended data

Many poets in ancient and modern times often write snow and plum together. Because Meier Snow reveals the information of spring, because Meier Snow shows noble character. This poem expounds the relationship among plum, snow and poetry, which are indispensable. Only by combining them can the most beautiful spring scenery be formed.

The poet believes that if only plum blossoms bloom alone and there is no snow, it will not show the charm of spring; If Mei Xue has no poems, it will also make people feel indecent. From this poem, we can see the poet's obsession with snow, plum and poetry, as well as his elegant aesthetic taste.
