My interest group is a discussion group about literature and art. In this group, we choose a specific literature and art topic for in-depth discussion and exchange every week. This group brings together a group of people who love literature and art, and we pursue the understanding and exploration of beauty together.
In the first activity of the group, we chose the theme of "the meaning and expression of modern poetry" for discussion. Everyone brought their favorite modern poetry works and shared their feelings and understanding of these works.
We find that modern poetry brings people a unique aesthetic experience with its unique language form and profound ideological connotation. By interpreting modern poetry, we can better understand and feel the changes in contemporary society and the pursuit of humanistic spirit.
In the following activities, we chose the theme of "Diversity and Criticality of Contemporary Art Works". We discussed the different forms and styles of contemporary works of art, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation art and so on. We find that contemporary works of art have great diversity, and artists convey different thoughts and emotions through various forms of expression.
At the same time, we also discussed the importance of criticism to contemporary art. Only through the perspective of criticism can we better understand and evaluate the connotation and value of contemporary art works.
Besides discussing literary topics, our group also organizes some literary activities regularly. We visited the local art exhibition together, enjoyed some excellent works of art, and held a reading party together, where everyone could choose a favorite poem or article to recite and share.
These activities not only give us a deeper understanding of literature and art, but also enhance our communication and friendship. In the group discussion, we not only pay attention to contemporary literature and art, but also involve some classic works and artists. We will discuss the development of literature and art together, understand the literary and artistic styles in different periods and draw inspiration from them.
They will also share some research results and viewpoints on literature and art, conduct academic exchanges and inspire each other. By participating in this interest group, I not only expanded my understanding of literature and art, but also made a group of like-minded friends. We jointly pursue the understanding and exploration of beauty, and constantly enrich and deepen our literary and artistic accomplishment through discussion and sharing.
