Han Lian (Song Dynasty)
The town is near Chongyang, and it's stormy. I went to Wushan alone to see the great river.
My eyes are dim and I forget the distance, but my heart is open.
Never for Yin Xing wild color, Qiu Guang is heartbroken.
This ancient poem is like this, and the sound of dusk is involved in the boundless.
Translation:
The sound of wind and rain in the city turned out to be the double ninth festival approaching quietly; I climbed Wushan alone, overlooking the mighty river. My eyes are dim and I can't see the scenery clearly. I no longer care about distance; Open-minded and cheerful, no longer pay attention to official career and seclusion. Since ancient times, poets have been fascinated by the rural scenery. But autumn, who is bleak in front of me, makes people feel sad. Poets in ancient and modern times are like this, just like me. I watch the tide surge and boundless in the evening.

It is more difficult to write metrical poems and make sentences. Quoting other people's poems, especially famous sentences, is even more difficult to make sentences. If not, the whole poem will be eclipsed and discouraged. The author here deserves to be the stamina of Jiangxi Poetry School in the Southern Song Dynasty. He not only made great efforts in the forms of word symmetry and rhyme coordination, but also paid more attention to the refinement of artistic conception and the sublimation of emotion. Don't lose your ideals. "Be ambitious and clear-headed" means that no matter whether you are an official or retired, you are ambitious and ambitious. This sentence is full of energy, sweeping away the slightly sad atmosphere of the previous sentence. If you live in a temple, you will worry about the people in the temple; Away from the rivers and lakes, it shows a broad mind and a positive and enterprising spirit. "Wild colors have never been used to sing, which shows that Qiu Guang is heartbroken." The scenery in Qiu Lai is a beautiful sentence. "In the face of nature, poets have always expressed their feelings openly and sent their subjective feelings to' wild colors'. Now they can be used by authors to "sing". Is it the mighty river at the foot of the mountain that reminds the poet of his youth that is gone forever? Or the yellow leaves fluttering in the wind and rain remind the poet of his lonely life? The mood here seems to be inconsistent with the "strong heart" in the atmosphere of Xuan Huo. In fact, "the mysterious fire with a strong heart" is an unforgettable ambition, and the pain of "heartbroken" is an unavoidable sorrow. Today's sadness is due to the failure to realize one's ambition. The more ambitious you write, the greater the sorrow when you can't put it into practice. If it were not for sadness, the poet would not have to bear the wind and rain.
At the end of the couplet, "this ancient poet is like this, and the twilight is boundless." The poet at this moment, facing the heartbroken Qiu Guang, thinks that "today's ancient poets" share the same fate with each other, and their emotions are like rivers and waves. When the author was about to express his feelings, he suddenly stopped with the scenery, leaving a voice both at home and abroad. Readers can experience and think with the help of this picture which is in line with the author's thoughts and feelings at that time. This is the beauty of "endless words".
It is a skill to conclude a sentence with scenery in poetry, and it is also one of the ways to express emotion with scenery. It means that in the process of discussion or lyricism, poetry suddenly stops, turns to writing about scenery, concludes with scenery instead of emotion, and ends poetry, making poetry "ruthless at this time is better than emotion", which has not been finished yet.
