There are ***5 sets, 434 volumes, 4 1800 imperial poems in Qianlong. This was written during his sixty years in office, and he wrote two poems on average every day. In addition, before he ascended the throne, when he was a prince, there was The Complete Works of Leshan Hall. After abdicating, he became the emperor's father and had a collection of royal poems. These are in addition to 4 1800 songs. His poems are second to none in history. For example, The Complete Tang Poetry has 900 volumes, while the works of more than 2,200 poets in the 300 years of the Tang Dynasty have only 48,000. In other words, the length of one person's poems by Emperor Qianlong can be compared with all the remaining Tang poems, and the number and diligence of creation are really staggering.
