The Five Mountains of China are well known to everyone, and there are five towns besides the Five Mountains, then Rarely heard of it. "Zhou Li·Xia Guan·Zhi Fangshi" records: "East Town Yishan, West Town Wushan, Middle Town Huoshan, South Town Huijishan, North Town Yiwu Lushan." During the period of Yu and Shun, Lushan was named Youzhou Town. The mountain was named Guangning Gong by Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, King Guangning by King Shizong of Jin Dynasty, King Guangning of Zhende in the Yuan Dynasty, and even revered as the god of medicine and witchcraft in the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, Lu Mountain is the most famous among the three famous mountains in Northeast China (the other two mountains are Changbai Mountain and Qianshan Mountain).

Yiwulu Mountain is located in the west of Beizhen County, Liaoning Province. It is the boundary mountain between Beizhen County and Yi County. It stretches 45 kilometers from north to south and has a circumference of about 120 kilometers. The main peak, Wanghai Mountain, is 866.6 meters high. Yiwulu means "big" in the ancient Khitan language. Due to the ancientness and beauty of this mountain, many folk legends have been spread among the people of this generation. The poem "Wulu Mountain" written by Zhang Ruozhen, a native of Tongcheng in the Qing Dynasty, has the sentence "The whip marks the sky and the ruins of the Qin Dynasty, and the refining remains are still the work of the Emperor Mianwa", which refers to the two oldest legends.

It is said that after Qin Shihuang unified the six kingdoms, he heard that the beautiful mountains and clear waters of Beizhen were a rare treasure. He wanted to visit it, but the journey was far away. A scholar gave advice and said that he had made a thirty-six-knot mountain driving whip, which was specially used to drive high mountains. He claimed that he would come when he was called and go away when he waved it, so there was no need to worry at all. Unexpectedly, Lu Mountain remained unmoved, and the alchemist whipped it for three days and three nights, but there was no movement. The alchemist then drove from the end of the mountain section by section, hoping to rush back to deliver the goods. He whipped for three days and three nights, but only the end of the mountain was broken. The three small peaks were driven out for more than 20 miles and could no longer be moved, so they became the Thirteen Mountains on the Beijing-Shenyang Line. On the contrary, people were killed by alchemists' whips. In late autumn and early winter, the mountains were covered with red leaves, just like the blood stains left by the mountain whips back then. A poet from the Jin Dynasty, Cai Gui, came here to visit and wrote a nostalgic poem: "The northern town of Youzhou is high and majestic, leaning against the sky and the east. The ancestral dragon refused to go away, and the blood of the whip is still red." This legend dates back to ancient times. It has been circulating for thousands of years.

The legend about Nuwa refers to the stone mountain behind the Beizhen Temple. It looks like a screen from a distance, so it is called "Cuiyunping". Legend has it that in ancient times, the Emperor Gong's anger angered Mount Buzhou, causing the sky to collapse and the earth to collapse. Empress Nuwa came up with the idea of ??refining stones to mend the sky and save all living beings. In the end, there was a five-color stone left. She wanted to throw it into the sea, but unexpectedly There was a scorpion spirit hidden underneath, and it unexpectedly raised its tail and stung Nuwa. The pain was so painful that Nuwa couldn't help but squeeze her hands tightly, and pinched her middle finger into the stone, making a big hole. This stone was not thrown into the sea, but dropped on a hill on the ground, which is the northwest corner of Beizhen Temple. I don't know since when, the three characters "Mending Sky Stone" were engraved on the big stone wall of Cuiyunping. People who visit Beizhen Temple today also like to drill through the big hole under the Cuiyun Screen to see the traces left by Nuwa. When Emperor Qianlong visited Lu Mountain, he composed a poem, which goes: "To the west of the temple stands a green screen of clouds, hoping that someone can imitate the color and shape. A stone is more than ten feet wide, and the space is vast. Where does the word mending the sky come from?"

There is also a story about Yuchi Gong whipping Shimenkai. It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, General Wei Chigong led his troops to the outside of the pass. When they came to Lu Mountain, they were blocked by a stone ridge. The stone ridge was so high and steep that even birds could not fly over it. Many soldiers who ventured to climb fell into the mountain stream and died. Yu Chigong took out the purple gold whip with eighteen sections and eight sides from his waist, and aimed it at the big ridge with one whip. The divine whip has infinite power. When the first whip went down, a deep groove appeared on the stone ridge, and a crack appeared on the second whip. Under the whip, a golden light was seen, and a knife-like gap opened in the lying stone ridge. It was more than 2 feet high and 1 foot wide, just like a stone gate. Yuchi Gong opened a road over the mountain. To this day, Shimenzi is still the only way for people from Beizhen and Yixian to travel.
