I just got back from the March 3rd and a half agricultural poetry meeting, which was held in Jiangyin Grand Theatre this time. Because it's not far from where I live, I'll pass by after being introduced by my friends. The tickets were given internally. I don't know, so I didn't. I stood at the door until 7: 30 and went in with my friends.
I don't want to say more. It took about three hours from 7.30- 10.30. At first, there were about 1000 people, and then it was sparse. Most people leave halfway. The content is that poetry recitation is interspersed with some rock folk songs, and the overall performance is average, but after adding a few performances that make people feel miserable and inexplicable, they feel very bad. I almost put the mineral water bottle on the stage when I was excited. To be fair, it is very difficult to make poetry look like a concert. Let's talk about those poems, which require a high voice, articulate words and cadence expression, and not everyone can do it. Let's not talk about abstruse poetry itself, but also consider the audience with low appreciation ability. In any case, we should respect the efforts of the organizers and hope that more people will devote themselves to promoting cultural traditions.
I don't know much about modern poetry, but some of them are also many famous classic poems, which appear in Chinese textbooks of junior and senior high schools, so they are catchy. Xu zhimo-farewell to Cambridge, Liu Bannong-taught me how to miss her, Yu Guangzhong-homesickness, Shu ting-to the oak tree; Dai Wangshu-Rain Lane, Haizi-faces the sea, spring blossoms, Cangyang Jiacuo, Pushkin, Tagore and so on. There are also some poems whose authors are unknown at home and abroad. In short, it is self-evident that poems that sound good can be circulated for a long time and are easy to understand, so they are well known to women and children and widely circulated. Later, I came into contact with some contemporary poems, but I always felt that there was a trend that unless it was difficult to understand, it was not called poetry, and it was extremely profound and broad. Sometimes after reading the so-called poems, I wonder if my IQ is normal. I think poetry, as a carrier of culture, can only be a castle in the sand and a mirage if it is divorced from life and the public. If so, it is no wonder that the development of rivers and lakes is getting worse and worse, and the audience is also less.
Even the smartest person is stupid, and the voice of joy is loud. The truth and theorem in the world are the simplest and seem to be clear at a glance; Most high-tech things are easy to understand and operate; Excellent design is simple and clear, with a few lines and words. Then why can't our contemporary poetry be easy to understand and catchy?
