Cui Ying, Wang Zhihuan, Wang Wan and Zhang Ji failed to rank among the top ten poets in the Tang Dynasty because of their low status in the history of poetry. However, some of their works are surrounded by the top ten masterpieces because of the love of critics and readers. On the one hand, it shows that readers' choice and value judgment of famous works are fair, which depends not entirely on the author's fame and reputation, but on the artistic charm of the works themselves.
On the other hand, it shows that to become a famous poet, it is difficult to dominate the history of literature only by one or two famous poems, and a certain number of famous works are needed as support. From this perspective, the number of famous works is directly proportional to the status and influence of writers. The more famous articles, the greater the influence and the higher the position in the history of literature.
It should be noted that due to the particularity of the criteria on which the ranking is based, the situation reflected in the above table only has relative significance, and only reflects the influence of poetry or poets to a certain extent, rather than the absolute value balance.
Because there are many factors that affect communication, the differences in evaluation criteria and aesthetic taste of poetry in different times will be reflected in the results, so this is a matter of different opinions.
