Xie Tiao
Xie Tiao (464-499) was born in Chenxia County (now Taikang County, Henan Province). He was born in the Xie family in Chen County, and he is the same clan as Xie Lingyun, who is called "Xiao Xie" by the world.
In 482, Jian Yuan of the Southern Qi Dynasty "dismissed from office" and joined the army for Wei Xing, the king of Zhang Yu. In the fifth year of Yongming (487), he met Wang Xiao of Jingling and was appointed as one of the "Eight Friends of Jingling". In the 10th year of Yongming (492), he went to Jingzhou with Wang Xiaolong, and in the 11th year of Yongming (493), he returned to Beijing as the chief of staff of the title of generals in ancient times.
There is still a letter in my hand. In the second year of Jianwu (495), he was named the satrap of Xuancheng, also known as Xie Xuancheng. Two years later, he returned to Beijing as Zhong Shulang. After that, it came out as the satrap of the South East China Sea and Xuzhou in the south.
At the beginning of Yongtai, because of suing his father-in-law for rebellion, he moved to the official department of Shangshu, also known as Xie Official Department. In the first year of Houyongyuan (499), Gui Jiang brothers were framed and died in prison for leaking the news that Wang Xiaoyaoguang was to be established. Only thirty-six years old.
Xie Tiao once created an "eternal style" together with Shen Yue and others. Today, there are more than 200 poems, which are longer than five-character poems. They describe the natural scenery and directly express their arms. The poetic style is fresh and beautiful, beautiful and pleasant to hear. They start well and finish well, and sometimes they have good sentences. It has an important influence on the formation of regular poems and quatrains in Tang Dynasty. Some episodes have been lost. Later generations compiled Xie Xuan into a Collection.
The main achievement of Xie Tiao's poetry lies in the creation of landscape poems. Xie Tiao described the landscape of southern Anhui with Xuancheng as the center with his beautiful and delicate poems, and made new exploration and development on the landscape poems since Xie Lingyun, which had a good influence on later Tang poems.
Xie Tiao is the most famous poet among the Eight Friends of Jingling. His poems delivered to the west have narrow themes. Except for entertainment at banquets, they are all about chanting things, such as "Yong 'an Wind" and "Yong 'an Bamboo". Although this kind of chanting poems has a little sustenance, the Lord demands its shape.
There are also many Yuefu folk songs that simulate the Han, Wei, Jin and Song Dynasties. Although these works do not reflect significant social content, they do show boudoir feelings and have a certain flavor of life.
After Xie Tiao went to Jingzhou with the government, his poetry creation made new progress, especially after experiencing political turmoil. After serving as the magistrate of Xuancheng, his poems have made new achievements in content and form.
He not only created a large number of landscape poems, expressing the beauty of mountains and rivers and his own life feelings, but also created poems reflecting certain social reality, such as "Happy Rain in Saijingting Mountain Temple" and "Giving to the Poor".
