Third, think and answer.

1. Who told Moses to spy out the land of Canaan? Who went there? They went to see what Moses commanded them in the land of Canaan. In what season did they go up? 17/20

Answer: (1) The Lord said to Moses, "Send someone to spy out the land of Canaan which I gave to the Israelites (1 ~ 2).

(2) They should send one person from each tribe. They should be the leader. So Moses sent them out of the wilderness of Paran, as the Lord had commanded them, all of them were heads of families of the Israelites. (2 ~ 3)

(3) Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan and said to them, "Go up to the Negev, go up to that mountain and see what the land is like: whether the people who live there are strong or weak, whether there are many or few people, whether the land they live in is good or bad, whether the city they live in is a camp or a stronghold, whether the land is fertile or barren, and whether there are trees on it. Dare to come back with some fruit from that area. " This is the season when grapes ripen for the first time. ( 17~20)

④ The first ripening season (20) of grapes is July.

2. What's their route to scout this place? Where did they cut a bunch of grapes? 2 1/25

Answer: (1) They went up to spy out the land, from the wilderness of Zin to Lihe to the entrance to Hamath. They went up from the Negev and came to Hebron. The Anakim are Ahiman, Sheshai and Tamai. Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt. (2 1~22)

(2) They came to the valley of Ishcol, where they cut down the branches of grapes with a bunch of grapes on them. Two men carried them with poles, and they brought some pomegranates and figs. The Israelites cut a bunch of grapes from there, so that place was called the Valley of Ishcol. (23~24)

3. They will come back after watching Jiannan for a few days. What correct information did they bring to Canaan? After 25/29, what different comments did they give on such information? 30/33

It took them 40 days to come back to survey the land. (25)

They came to Kadesh, Moses, Aaron and all the congregation of Israel in the wilderness of Paran, reported to them and all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. He said to Moses, "We came to the land where you sent us, and it really flowed with milk and honey. This is the fruit of the land.

But the people who live there are very strong, and the town is big and strong. We also saw the Anakims there. Amalek lived in the Negev; Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in mountainous areas; Canaanites live along the coast and beside the Jordan River. " (26~29)

Caleb calmed the people before Moses and said, "Let's go up to that land at once! We will conquer it. "

But the people who went with him said, "We can't go up and attack those people because they are stronger than us."

So some spies spread rumors about the land they spied out, saying, "The land we spied out was a land that devoured residents, and all the people we saw there were tall.

We saw giants there, the Anakin among giants. We are like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and so are they. " (30~33)

Fourth, the application solution

Application 1: How do you consider the realistic dilemma and your beliefs?

A: In a difficult situation, you look at the environment with your eyes and see yourself as a grasshopper in front of the enemy (environment).

In the environment, keep your eyes on God and see that the enemy (environment) is my food.

If we don't look to God with faith in real difficulties, we will be weak and fall. If we look to God with confidence, all environments are not environments, because our God is greater than the environment. I will lift my eyes to the mountains. My help comes from God, my salvation comes from God, my strength comes from God, my wisdom comes from God, and everything I have comes from God. Hallelujah!

Application 2: How do you consider the realistic dilemma and your beliefs?

On the surface, my real dilemma is nothing, but I often struggle:

I want to go out to earn money, improve my living standard, send my child to school and let him go to a good school. ...

Thank God, I gave up those ideas that conflicted with my beliefs. Sometimes I am afraid that one day I will give up my faith in front of the environment.

Every step of my life, I pray that God can guide me!

Application 3: How do you consider the realistic dilemma and your beliefs?

Answer: In real life, there are difficulties. Don't be intimidated by immediate difficulties and circumstances. Don't be like those ten spies. They soon forgot that God led them out of Egypt with great power to open the way for the Red Sea. They should learn from Joshua and Caleb and believe in God's promise and power.

Because God's promise is eternal, God can make the wilderness clear and the desert open rivers.

Because we act by faith, not by sight.
