The phrase "I don't know why I have fifty strings on my Jinse" has caused countless speculations and reverie. Liu Ban (bān) mentioned in Kung Fu Poetry that Li Shangyin's teacher is Linghu Chu and Jinse is the singer of the teacher's family. Li Shangyin had a sentimental relationship with her, but it ended in vain. A moment that should last forever has come and gone before I know it.
