It rained for thirty days in midsummer and June. I live in the southeast, the terrain is low and humid, and I often like wet steaming, which makes plants wither and people bitter. Suddenly I saw a hundred flowers, fragrant and lovely, and the color was like Hosta. I don't know its name, but it's called Yuxue.
This flower is in full bloom. It is as beautiful as snow. It is in Bai Rushuang. The breeze suddenly rises and the fragrance is like a dream. Because of enjoying flowers in the water and drinking and writing poems, it is called the snow pavilion. After the poem was finished, I was still wanting more, so I invited my son to come and have a look.
Ziyou saw this flower and praised it greatly. Because the petals were slightly flawed and the color was slightly dark, it was suspected that it was a bee sting. I listened and smiled. Therefore, Ziyou and I have different views, either about the beauty of this flower, or about the clarity of its fragrance, or about the lightness of its color, or about the beauty of its flaws.
Before the discussion, I suddenly realized one thing, but I said to the children: people are right for flowers, and people are right for people. Flowers have flaws, so do people. There is no such thing as America. Those who only seek beauty are also biased. Therefore, a gentleman should treat things with heart, not seek beauty.
As soon as I listened, I got it silently. I nodded and said with a smile that my brother's words won my heart. Since then, my son and I have been drinking and watching flowers.

In the first poem, Su Shi described the beauty and fragrance of jade snowflakes, and described the shape, color and breath of flowers with delicate brushstrokes, showing his love and appreciation of the beauty of nature. This kind of praise for the beauty of nature also runs through the whole group of poems, expressing the poet's awe and yearning for the beauty of nature.

He believes that just like jade snowflakes have flaws, human beings also have shortcomings, and we should accept and understand this deficiency instead of pursuing perfection excessively. This attitude of acceptance and understanding is also reflected in several other poems, which reflects Su Shi's profound thinking and understanding of life.
3. Poetry expresses the cherish and nostalgia for the family. In the last poem, Su Shi recalled the scene where he and his younger brother played in the garden since childhood, and expressed his nostalgia for that wonderful time and cherish his family.
