How did traditional poetry develop in modern times?
Modern traditional poetry continues to develop. One is the Song Poetry Movement, represented by He, He and Zeng Guofan, whose main content is to imitate the Song Poetry. Then there is the "Tongguang" poetry school, which advocates breaking the boundaries between Tang and Song Dynasties and imitating the Jiangxi poetry school in Song Dynasty. The representative poets are Chen, Shen, Zheng. In addition, there are schools of poetry in the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties represented by Wang Kaiyun, and schools of late Tang poetry represented by Zengxiang Fan and Yi Shunding. This countercurrent in the poetry circles in the late Qing Dynasty continued until the May 4th New Culture Movement.
