Which poem in The Book of Songs is for self-protection?

The Book of Songs is a poem about abandoning a wife. The Book of Songs, Feng Wei Mang, is the first poem handed down by China that abandoned his wife and was highly praised by the poet. Modern scholars generally believe that the hero and heroine of poetry are farmers, and the main contents of poetry are memories of the good past, curses of embarrassing reality and sighs of their unfortunate experiences. Taking the history of Chunqiu as an example, I'm afraid these conclusions need to be reconsidered.

The hero of this poem is called Meng. "Meng" and "Min" were pronounced as "Meng" in ancient times. Mr. Guo Moruo once said that "people" are slaves who dig their eyes blind, and "self-protection" is a fugitive slave. We must never follow them. The practice and theory of slavery originated in western Europe, and slavery did occur in western Europe.

China has never practised slavery except Tibet. In 1950s, China historians came to a conclusion that the history of China, like that of Europe, was divided into several historical stages. Xia, Shang, Zhou, Spring and Autumn Period was the era of slavery, and the Warring States began to enter the feudal era.

This conclusion is unreliable for the simple reason. Almost all documents in the pre-Qin period recorded that the Xia, Shang, Zhou, Spring and Autumn Period implemented the aristocratic system of picking fields, and the common people had fields to the tillers. Slaves can't own land, which is the most important means of production. It is also inaccurate for modern experts in the Book of Songs to call the hero "Meng" a farmer.

The aristocrats in the Zhou Dynasty were generally called "people" and the common people were generally called "people". "Self-protection" and "common people" really refer to ordinary people, including farmers, craftsmen, businessmen and servants working in the government. In the Zhou dynasty, only nobles went to school to learn cultural knowledge and the way of governing the country in order to be an official in the future. If ordinary people can't be officials, they won't study. Therefore, Confucius said, "If you are sleepy, you will not learn, and the people will feel inferior."

No matter who you are, you can be smart if you study naturally, and stupid if you don't study. Therefore, the original meanings of "self-protection" and "people" refer to illiterate and uneducated ordinary people, who are blind and extended to fools. Today's online language "selling cute" means selling stupid, and this ancient meaning still exists. The only difference is that "person" refers to ordinary people, and "self-protection" refers to immigrants among ordinary people. For example, Mencius called Tengguo immigrants "self-protection". However, in most cases, "self-protection" and "people" have the same meaning.
