In ancient Greek mythology, there is another legend about the origin of lilies:
The god Zeus had a son named Hercules. He has created 12 heroic achievements. Hercules heard that eating the milk of the goddess Juno would make him immortal. However, getting Juno's milk was not easy. Zeus spent a lot of thought and invited the gods to have a drink. He deliberately arranged a large amount of Nectar (the wine drank by the gods) for Juno at the banquet. Juno was indeed very drunk. Zeus asked his son Hercules to fall on Juno and suck her milk. The more Hercules ate, the more he ate. His mouth full of milk had no time to swallow, and it flowed to the ground. Wherever there was milk, white and fragrant flowers immediately grew, and people called them lilies. From then on, the social fashion there was to wear white clothes and hold a lily in hand to express nobility and chastity.
