This is a poem written by a poet who lived in Changgu's home in autumn and felt that he had failed in reading and was in a lonely corner.
There are twelve lines in the poem * * *, and the first ten lines are all about scenery. These scenery, some bright and fragrant, some desolate and cold, are very inconsistent with each other. The author put them together to form a special situation to adapt to his own situation and mood at that time. This is a manifestation of the strangeness in Li He's poems.
The first two sentences are written in stone. "The autumn waters in Shi Gen are bright", which is presented to readers with a clear and elegant Qiu Guang water color: "Autumn grass on the stone bank is thin", and it also reminds people of the chilling weather of frosty wind and withered vegetation. The autumn water is clear and the autumn grass is thin. This scene is bright and obscure, gentle and lovely and thin and hard. It can't be said that it is Yan, glory and dryness, which makes people love, hate, joy and sadness. This kind of strange scenery is a tortuous reflection of the author's ambivalence that he wanted to get in but couldn't get out.
Write bamboo in three or four sentences. "Invasion of clothes and wild bamboo incense", the wild bamboo is clustered, and the incense invades the sleeves, which makes people reluctant to leave. "Sting leaves are thick", which describes the accumulation of bamboo leaves. In the evening, the dusk is heavy, and the dense bamboo leaves deepen the gloomy tone of the night, which inevitably makes people feel gloomy and terrible. The four sentences have frequent ups and downs, rapid turning, confusion and uncertainty.
The middle four sentences are about aerial scenery. The bright moon rises from Dongshan, hanging high in the blue night sky, and looks beautiful and lovely. The laurel trees in the middle of the month set off the slim figure of Chang 'e, and the stars hid under the clouds, blinking and laughing at each other. How beautiful and charming all this is! It's a pity that they are all in the sky, far away from the world, just beyond our reach. So the pen turned and returned to the world, continuing to write the scenery of Changgu in front of him.
"Desolate gardenias fall, and the mountains weep and clear the leakage". Under the severe frost, the gardenia has withered. The spring water squeezed out from the cracks in the rock bit by bit, making a muffled sound, like a sad sob. As I write here, the stars are shining, and the clear realm of the bright moon suddenly disappears, replaced by the cold and desolate scene in front of me. These two sentences are a turning point for the upper part and a foreshadowing for the lower part.
Write personnel at the end of the sentence. Zhang Zhongwei used to be an ancient hermit. He was knowledgeable and literate, and he was "good at writing poems and fu". However, he was extremely poor and "nobody lived in Artemisia" (Jin Zhiyu's Notes on Three Auxiliary Records). Obviously, the author is based on Zhang Zhongwei's own situation, saying that he has been studying poetry books in Changgu for years, and the books are almost rotten, but he still has nothing to do. The words "the case will rot" are extremely painful, and they pour out their grievances.
The expression of this poem is rather strange. Unlike ordinary allegorical poems, it focuses on narration, interspersed with arguments and expressing feelings. Instead, it focuses on writing scenery, rendering the environment and atmosphere, and expressing its feelings in twists and turns through various concrete and vivid images. The scenery described by the poet is bright and fragrant, and some are thin and cold. Putting these scenes with extremely uncoordinated colors together, they are both stiff and magnificent, both miscellaneous (contradictory) and vivid (reflecting each other), thus producing a very unusual artistic charm. It vividly reproduces the scenery of a specific time (autumn night) and a specific place (Changgu), and truly reflects the poet's situation and mood.
Li He has deep feelings for his hometown Changgu. However, after all, he is an ambitious man who doesn't want to be confined to a corner and do nothing. He studied day and night, hoping to make use of it, but unexpectedly he was as poor as Zhang Zhongwei for life, not for the world. How can this not make him feel deeply sad and resentful! Poetry uses the technique of contrast and reflection, novel and wonderful images, and accurately and vividly displays this complex thought and emotion. Previous comments on Li He's songs and poems often only see its "strangeness" side. In fact, strangeness and appropriateness, unpredictability and the ability to do one's best are its real characteristics. This is also the value of Li He's poems.
