Original poem:
There are crows in Bai Shu and osmanthus in Coody Leng in the atrium.
I don't know who Qiu Si will meet tonight.
Translation:
Crows inhabit the snow-white trees on the ground of the courtyard, and the dew in autumn silently wets the osmanthus in the courtyard.
Everyone in the world looks up at the bright moon tonight. I wonder whose home this autumn will fall to?
Appreciation of the poem Looking at the Bright Moon at Fifteen Nights
This poem has a beautiful artistic conception. On the night of Mid-Autumn Festival, the bright moon is in the sky, but the full moon is not round. All over the world, who doesn't enjoy the moon at the bottom? With vivid language and rich imagination, the poet rendered the specific environment atmosphere of enjoying the moon in the Mid-Autumn Festival, bringing readers into a thoughtful mood far away from the moon.
The poet was disappointed with the separation of his family, so the sadness of the moon palace led to deep acacia. His Qiu Si must be the most sincere. However, the poet did not pour out his thoughts directly, but used a euphemistic questioning tone: I wonder, where will the vast Qiu Si fall? Obviously, he was pregnant with someone and said "I don't know who Qiu Si belongs to", which shows the poet's deep feelings for Yue Huaiyuan.
In the refined words, the word "Luo" is novel, appropriate and extraordinary. It gives people a touching image, as if Qiu Si had fallen into the world with the silver moon. Such a sigh-filled, carefree ending expresses the feelings of parting and meeting very tactfully.
