Literary schools are naturally formed in the process of literary development. From the basic form, there are two kinds: one is a conscious assembly with a clear literary concept and organizational form. From the writer's subjective point of view, this genre is consciously combined because of the same or similar political tendencies, aesthetic views and artistic interests, and has obvious factionalism. They generally have certain names of organizations and associations, have the same literary program, publicly express their own literary opinions, and argue with other schools with different views. But these are only the meanings of literary groups. Only when the distinctive features of * * * are further formed in creative practice can this be a literary genre in a strict sense. This organized, planned and creative collection of writers is a conscious literary genre. For example, there have been "Literature Research Society" and "Creation Society" in the history of modern literature in China. The other is a faction that has no clear literary ideas or organizational forms at all, but is objectively formed because of similar creative styles. This semi-conscious or unconscious aggregation, or because of a writer's unique style, attracted a group of imitators and followers, and gradually formed a faction with a specific core and the same style; Or just because some writers in a certain period have similar creative contents and expressions, and their works are similar in style, they have been summarized by later generations from practice and theory and given certain genre names. This genre exists in a large number in the history of China literature, such as the pastoral school represented by Wang Wei and Meng Haoran in the Tang Dynasty, the frontier school represented by Gao Shi and Cen Can in the Song Dynasty, the wild school dominated by graceful school in the Song Dynasty, and the Yuanyang Butterfly school dominated by talented people and beautiful women in the history of modern literature.
