From the comparison of many poems, we can see the similarities between them, but it is not difficult to find the differences between them. This huge difference is brought about by the differences in essence and thinking forms.
Lyric poetry is good at depicting portraits of China people, paying attention to the creation of artistic conception, and pursuing the unfinished effect of Italian language, which makes people have endless imagination. British and American poetry is mind-oriented, describing scenes evokes people's reactions and expresses self from subjective consciousness. This is caused by different ways of thinking.
China's poetry, which pays attention to implication, is abbreviated as beauty, while British and American poetry is relatively unrestrained, with radical feelings as the mainstay. A very prominent example is the handling of love, which can be fully reflected in western poetry. China poets don't always express love when they talk about love, "only in the brow, but in our hearts", while western poets shout "You are my sun, and the fire of love makes me feel too anxious"-this is something you can afford to translate, not to walk and leave it.
China's poems are more concerned with sentences, or lyrical scenery, and integrate the feelings buried in the poet's heart forever into poems, such as Ma Zhiyuan's "Sand?" In Qiu Si, he hardly used a word to express his feelings, but Kuteng, Old Tree and Faint Cry were properly arranged together, which simply rendered the lonely and desolate atmosphere. There was no direct connection between the first and second sentences, but his feelings were coherent. When he read them in one breath, it seemed that he was a poet's character, which aroused strong resonance. However, a tie with dozens of still lifes has no subjective feelings, but the language must express a strong sense of desolation and loneliness, which is the charm of China's classical poems. In contrast, modern British and American poems emphasize the fractal human psychology of individuals in society and express the meaning of poets more directly.
