? Qilu·Yellow River
From the west of Kunlun, the nine bends come, and the mountains and deserts are opened for you.
Carrying the sand rolls with the waves, the setting sun returns to the sea.
A single bloodline nourishes grass and trees, and a journey of thousands of miles nourishes talents.
The birthplace of ancient civilization, its brilliance has left the world guessing.
Teacher Zhang Chengyu’s comments:
The poetic style is grand, dignified and upright. The tail couplet is slightly flat.
"The water of the Yellow River comes up from the sky and rushes to the sea never to return"
"The Yellow River has thousands of miles of sand, and the waves and winds blow it from the end of the world"
" Far above the Yellow River, among the white clouds, there is an isolated city called Wanren Mountain."
"If you want to cross the Yellow River and the river is blocked by ice, you will climb to Taihang in the dark snowy sky"...
There are many such popular sayings The poems always give me a lot of imagination every time I read them. Although I have never seen the Yellow River, I have felt its extraordinary momentum and magnificent scene.
The Yellow River is our "mother river" and the origin of Chinese civilization.
I have never met, so I had to search on Baidu to understand the general flow of the Yellow River:
1. Source
Starting from the Bayan Hara Mountain on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the clear and transparent snow water gathers under the Bashan to form a shallow lake area composed of seas - Xingxiu Sea. This is what we recognize as the source of the Yellow River, "the place where stars sleep and wake up." People like to trace their roots. A friend of mine even made a special trip to Xingxiu Sea to fulfill his wish. He wants to see the source of the Yellow River in his life. It is so interesting. People deserve praise.
2. First Bay
The snow water stopped briefly in the Xingxiu Sea and continued to flow eastward to Sichuan. It was blocked by the Min Mountain and had to turn back to the northeast. The famous first bend of the Yellow River is formed here.
3. Loess Plateau
Because of this inadvertent turn, a veritable Yellow River and the endless Chinese civilization emerged. When entering the Loess Plateau, the wildly scouring river swept away a large amount of yellow sand. The originally clear and transparent snow water was mixed with yellow sand and turned into a turbid Yellow River. These silts sink and float along the way, scouring and settling along the way, turning into fertile soil, and alluvially forming the vast Hetao Plain.
4. The last word in the word "ji" is the Qinjin Gorge
The Yellow River leaves the Hetao and encounters the Luliang Mountains in the east. It is forced to turn south, forming the famous Qinjin Gorge during the 700-kilometer journey south. As the name suggests, the west of the ancient canyon was the land of Qin, and the east of the canyon was the land of Jin. At the beginning of the canyon there is the famous Laoniu Bay of the main stream of the Yellow River, and at the end there is the Hukou Waterfall scenic spot that "a thousand miles of Yellow River harvests in one pot"
(Yellow River Laoniu Bay)
? (Hukou Waterfall)
5 The Qinling Mountains stretch across the river, the Wei River joins, and the Yellow River turns eastward.
It flows east along the foot of the Taihang Mountains and enters the North China Plain.
6. The giant dragon swings its tail (Yellow Flood Area)
The Yellow River exits Taohua Valley in Henan and enters the North China Plain. If the Yellow River is compared to a dragon, this section of the river is called the dragon's tail. The dragon's head and body traveled through the mountains. Although they turned around, they were still restrained by the mountains and could not cause any serious harm. But the dragon's tail can sway freely in the flat and gentle North China Plain (the sediment accumulates, and the river bed slowly rises above the city. Once the water rises, the embankment breaks and the river changes its course, bringing serious disasters to the local people). The embankment was to be breached once. According to historical records, major diversions occurred 26 times. The dragon's tail swept through Tianjin in the north and swept into Jianghuai in the south.
The Yellow River currently flows into the Bohai Sea in Dongying, Shandong Province. It is uncertain which day it will change its course to the Yellow Sea.
