The new generation has three schools of poetry.
These three schools are "written language writing", "spoken language writing" and "written and spoken language composite writing".
The so-called "written language writing" poets pursue the elegant temperament of language, pay attention to rhetorical effects and emphasize the imagination of words. There are many poets who hold this writing tendency, among them are surprisingly, Tibet, Xi Du and David.
The so-called "oral writing" poets emphasize daily life language and folk language as their own poetic language resources, and oppose and abandon rhetorical devices. Since the late 1990s, they have formed a noticeable trend and fashion, with Issa, Shen Haobo and Yi Lichuan as the representative poets.
The so-called "composite writing" is the product of the infiltration of the first two schools. Its representative figures are Xu Jiang, Ji Damo, Houma and Jin Haishu.
