This is a poem describing the rural scenery in late spring. It paints us a picture of spring and lovely children. The first two sentences show the happy and naive background of children catching butterflies. There are sparse fences and deep paths here. There are some trees beside the fence, petals are falling from the branches, and the young leaves are not fluttering like butterflies.
Shadows, fences and paths indicate that this is the countryside. Flowers fall before they become cloudy "and cauliflower in the sentence indicates that it is late spring season. In the last two sentences, the children hurried behind Huang Die, flying into the cauliflower, nowhere to be found, and turned the crayon to the center of the picture, depicting the happy scene of children catching butterflies. Rushing and chasing means running and chasing quickly. These two verbs are very vivid, vividly depicting children's innocent and lively, curious and competitive manner and psychology. But flying into the cauliflower is nowhere to be found, and the moving lens suddenly turns static. The word "nowhere to be found" leaves readers room for imagination and aftertaste, as if a child who is at a loss in the face of a golden cauliflower floats in front of us. This poem is simple, natural and vivid by using the technique of line drawing. The poet was an honest official and was once hated by traitors. After he was dismissed from office, he lived in the countryside for a long time and was very familiar with rural life. His description of nature is very touching and interesting.
