Although the poem "Sleeping in a Deep Bay" is written about the homesickness of the author Wang Bo, there are two sentences worthy of attention: Jiang Tong's mourning at dusk, and Shan Nv's adjusting her anvil at night.
The words "dusk" and "night" were added before the words "reason" and "anvil adjustment". This is not something that the poet came by hand, but what he saw when he stayed in the mountain village after careful consideration: it was dusk, and the boatmen on the river were still rowing hard; the night was already deep, and the women in the mountains were still beating their clothes. This is a thought-provoking picture, and the poet has made a realistic reflection of the suffering of the working people.
