Unselected road author

Robert frost had no choice.

The Road Not Taken is a literary work by Robert Frost, an American poet. This profound philosophical poem shows people's difficult mood when they are at a crossroads in real life. In poetry, the poet chooses a lonely and thorny road, just as the poet chooses a life of writing poetry, which will not bring rich materials to real life.

After the poet made his choice, he regretted that "you can't have your cake and eat it", so he could only choose a road and go on firmly, and he could only sigh and regret in the memories after many years. This poem is unpretentious, fresh and meaningful, with profound implications.

Robert Frost (1874— 1963) is one of the most popular American poets in the 20th century. He used to be a shoemaker, teacher and farmer in New England. His poems are based on the theme of rural life, which has a lot in common with19th century poets. In contrast, it is less modernistic.

He has won four Pulitzer Prizes and many other awards and honors, and is called "Poet Laureate in American Literature". It was not until the second half of his life that his poems won public recognition.

In the next few years, he established the image of a great writer. Representative works: Selected Poems, A Tree Testimonies, Mountains, New Hampshire, Xixi, Another Pasture, glade in the Woods, and poetic dramas The Mask of Reason, The Mask of Sympathy, The Complete Poems and The Road Not Taken.
