Author: Wang Guozhen
As long as spring is still there.
I won't be sad.
Even if the night devours everything
The sun will come back.
As long as life is still there
I won't be sad.
Even if I'm stuck in the desert
There is still an oasis of hope.
As long as it is here tomorrow.
I won't be sad.
Winter snow will eventually melt quietly.
Spring thunder will surely roll in.
Appreciation: In the early 1990s, there was once a poet who swept the poetry world. This man is Wang Guozhen. When Wang Guozhen was studying at school, he liked reading and writing poems. From 65438 to 0985, he concentrated his spare time on poetry creation. During this period, an article "School Day" was published in China Youth Daily. Unexpectedly, his poems were widely read and published. Wang Guozhen pursues Pushkin's lyricism, Dickinson's elegance, Li Shangyin's warning strategy and Li Qingzhao's beauty in his creation. After graduation, he was assigned to the China Academy of Art, and later served as the deputy director of the editorial department of China Literature Yearbook. From 65438 to 0990, Wang Guozhen was a columnist of Liaoning Youth and China Youth. Wang Guozhen's poems are positive in theme, high-spirited and detached. One of the characteristics of the work is to ask questions frequently, which is often encountered in everyone's life. The focus is on the practice of life, from which we can deepen it a little and come up with some well-known philosophies. This quantitative philosophy is very suitable for the thinking characteristics of middle school students. In Wang Guozhen's poems, there are not only young people's lives, but also expressions of understanding, and even more detached, open-minded, simple and indifferent attitudes towards life.
This poem "As long as I am here tomorrow" also fully embodies the characteristics and values of Wang Guozhen's poems.
In the three paragraphs of the poem, the poet understands the connotation of life and the pursuit of life from three aspects: spring, life and tomorrow.
The first section "As long as spring is still there/I won't be sad/even if the night devours everything/the sun can still come back". In this festival, spring symbolizes all the good things in life and hopes. Inspired by hope, the lyric hero "I" bravely walked out of the "night" and the "sun" at dawn was just around the corner.
The second section "As long as life is still there/I won't be sad/even if I am trapped in the vast desert/there is an oasis of hope". In this festival, life becomes the carrier of hope. I don't care about the sadness in my life and bravely challenge my fate. Even if I am trapped in the vast desert, the hope of oasis enriches my soul, thus cherishing my life more. If I have life, I will have hope and courage and the determination to overcome difficulties.
The third section "As long as tomorrow is here/I won't be sad/winter snow will melt quietly/spring thunder will surely roll in". I believe that tomorrow will be better, so I won't be "sad" because winter is coming. Can spring be far behind? Winter snow melts and spring thunder rolls.
This poetic image is rich, and "spring", "sun", "oasis" and "tomorrow" are symbols of hope; "Night", "desert" and "winter snow" are symbols of difficulties. The whole poem expresses the positive, detached and open-minded attitude and pursuit of the lyric hero. Repetitive rhymes make poetry catchy to read.
Where there is tomorrow, there is hope. Can you also sing a song of hope with your heart?
