What is China Tea Culture?

Tea culture is the sum of material wealth and spiritual wealth about tea created in the process of social and historical development. Tea culture takes material as the carrier, which embodies distinct spiritual content and is the product of a high degree of harmony between material civilization and spiritual civilization. Tea culture contains a wide range of contents, such as the historical development of tea, the cultural environment of tea areas, tea technology, tea, tea sets, tea drinking customs, tea ceremony, tea books, tea paintings, tea poems and other cultural and artistic forms, as well as the spirit of tea ceremony, cha de and the influence of tea on social life.

Tea culture system includes three levels: material culture, institutional culture and spiritual culture:
