Life without a base is like the dust of the road. Life blowing in the wind, the body has gone through hardships, and it is not what it used to be.
When the world is brothers, why do brothers of their own brothers want to date each other? When you meet a pleasure, you should be happy, and you should invite your neighbors to drink.
Once the youth is gone, it will never come again, and you will never see the arrival of the next day. It's time for people to encourage themselves when they reach middle age. Time goes by and waits for no one.
Translation:
Life in this world is like dust on the road. Originally, it was like wandering dust, without roots. Life blowing in the wind, this body has gone through hardships and is no longer what it used to be.
Everyone in the world should be regarded as a brother. Why do you have to be your own brother to date each other? When you are happy, you should eat, drink and be merry. If you have wine, you should invite your neighbors to drink it.
Life is like time. Once it's over, it's never coming back. Therefore, we should take advantage of the prime of life, encourage ourselves more and do what we should do.

Theme appreciation:
Twelve Miscellaneous Poems is a group of poems that mourn the memory, lament the fatigue of the journey, praise the poverty of the family and strive for self-improvement. It shows the author's political depression after retirement and his noble personality.
This poem is the first one. The first four sentences lament the impermanence of life. The four sentences in the middle tell people not to miss the little happiness occasionally found in life. They should catch it in time and enjoy it. The last four sentences encourage young people to seize opportunities, cherish time, study hard and make continuous progress.
When this poem was written, it lamented that fate could not be grasped, which made people feel confused and sad to read. Then, it aroused a little bit, and the poet persistently sought friendship, joy and a glimmer of hope in life. The last one is impassioned and makes people excited.
