This is the Book of Songs, also known as 300 Poems, which records the history of about 500 years from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the mid-Spring and Autumn Period. In the Han Dynasty, there were four schools of teaching the Book of Songs: the poem passed down by Yuan Gu of Qi State was called Qi Poetry, the poem passed down by Shen Peichuan of Lu State was called Lu Poetry, and the poem passed down by Han Ying of Yan State was called Han Poetry. By the Eastern Han Dynasty, Shi Mao was recognized by officials and scholars, and gradually became popular. The schools of Qi, Lu and Han poetry gradually declined or even died out. The Book of Songs we are seeing now was handed down by Mao Heng.
Yin Jifu is not only good at martial arts, but also talented in literature. The Book of Songs records that "all peoples are the constitution". Later generations praised Yin Jifu for "convincing people with words, intimidating the enemy with force, and writing a career that will last forever". His poems "Steaming the People" and "Gao Song" are all included in the Book of Songs.
In the Spring and Autumn Period, it is said that there were more than 3,000 poems handed down, and only 3 1 1 was left (among them, 6 poems were famous: Nan Chang, Bai Hua, Shu Hua, You Geng, Chong Qiu and You Yi). Later, for convenience, it was called "Poetry 300".
