Who started modernist poetry?

Hu Shi's China's modern poetry has gone through nearly a hundred years since 19 17 February, when eight poems of Hu Shi were published in New Youth. During this period, a large number of outstanding poets with outstanding achievements were produced. These poets are attracted to each other in the history of modern poetry in China because of different times, different poetic opinions, different aesthetic tastes, or some special chance of life and geography.
