In traditional poetry, there are countless themes to express the moon and lovesickness, forming a model: expressing the poet's lovesickness with the moon as the medium. Taking such a traditional theme as poetry material is easy to be bound by traditional techniques, but the poet insists on finding the expressive force of new poetry in it, which in itself is a test of the new poetry that was born soon.
Hu Shi once took this poem as an example to illustrate the importance of poetic style liberation for expressing complex emotions and accurate observation. He thought that if the poem was in the old style, it would not be so exquisite. Indeed, the exquisiteness of this poem is closely related to the use of free style and modern spoken language. For example, in the second season, there were four consecutive "les", which exquisitely expressed the idle month's chafing mood and slightly naughty and playful character; This natural language rhythm is quite different from the old rhythm of singing sigh poems. Kang first put forward that new poetry should pay attention to the functions of being pleasing to the ear, fresh and easy to sing, so his poems pay attention to rhythm and harmony with the content. In terms of conception and expression, the poet completely personified the moon and acacia, making them interdependent as interpersonal relationships, hiding the poet side of the relationship between the poet and the moon, directly describing the emotional entanglement between the moon and acacia, and showing a brand-new artistic conception. The first section is about the moon falling in love with acacia. It turns out that seeing the moon evokes lovesickness. The so-called "looking up, I found it was moonlight, and then sinking, and I suddenly thought of home"; However, the poet found another way, suggesting that missing itself is also a kind of pain. The more you miss, the deeper the pain. However, Yue Ming doesn't seem to understand the special distress of Acacia, or it is because her attachment to Acacia is too paranoid, which annoys Acacia. In the second season, I was originally in love with Acacia, even more pitying Acacia, but I was "affectionate but heartless", so Yue finally left angrily. Acacia, on the other hand, is very annoyed with the bright moon, because the longer and deeper she sees the moon, the greater the damage she suffers. This is not a "heartless thing". Now that the month has gone, I feel lonely again. It was a long time since I knew her, but it's been longer since we broke up. In just eight sentences, such a complex and rich emotion is expressed in a distinct and dramatic way.
